Nació en la isla de Puerto Rico, y ha vivido la mayor parte de su vida en la isla, con periodos en la República Dominicana y México.

Es escritora, bióloga, doctora en medicina y madre educadora en el hogar. Desde pequeña escribe historias y poemas, inspirada por los libros y las palabras. Adora los lápices, los árboles y las ideas que giran en torno a la identidad y a la trascendencia.

Su primer cuento corto publicado, Elefante, ganó el primer lugar de la Competencia Literaria Small Axe 2017.
