Johan is a family man; married to Debbie, together they have three young adult sons: Jakin, Kaydon and Tymon and live in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Johan worked in the commercial flooring industry and established a successful contracting company, which he and Debbie ran together for over a decade.
His passion has always been the church and after several years in volunteer and part time ministry, he became the lead pastor at ChurchAlive in 2007.
He graduated from Baptist Theological College with 4 year BTh degree in 2007 and won the award for practical theology.
