✍️ NEWS ABOUT MY WRITING…

I am currently writing the first draft of chapter 7 of Rentsoc Book 2: The Pirate, The Wizard, and the Steampunk Archeologist. Like Book 1, it will be ten chapters with the title characters each getting a chapter in turn. This time Fanny gets the extra chapter instead of Mitch; yes, it is a Fanny book. Book 2 will not be out this year because I need to take it through my writing critique groups for quality assurance. If you want more Mitch, you can read a short story about him in an upcoming anthology. I’ll let you know as soon as it’s available.

Soon, I will be publishing The Analog Wanderer. Set in a world where people can manipulate the fabric of space-time at will, humans use their god-like power mostly for amusement, like turning their whole town into a bouncy castle or a beach with ocean. Born into this world, Melvin finds his town’s daily wonderments weird and upsetting, so he leaves in search of a more realistic life.

I am also planning to publish a collection of my short stories, which will include Cabin Kid Fanny, a never before published short story about Captain Fanny from Rentsoc. Follow her on her journey to complete her final test to earn the rank of Mate by sailing around the Turtle and under the Ring of Nivek.
