Dorcas A. Stevens is an actress and writer of British-Nigerian decent. As a published author her debut novel ‘Hope & Worth’ is available on Amazon.

Based in London when she’s not working she enjoys the slower things in life like practicing Yoga, crocheting and being a proud guardian of her orchid, Minnie. She is a playwright, screenwriter and sometimes poet who is working hard on her next writing and acting projects.

423 days ago I outlined ‘8 Ways to Self-Publishing LIKE A BOSS’. I detailed my very tedious but enjoyable process on the road to publishing my book. As a result, an identity crisis followed, but in it I also learned a lot of things about my identity as a writer and why it always pays off to take a leap of faith.
