A Writer's Case of Mistaken Indentity

The process of writing a book about the Trump-era immigration crisis did not come without its surprises; a giant, icy scoop of indictment and a few bitesize presidential treats (such as "illegal immigrants are murdering Americans"). Drizzle with sticky, Ukraine rumours before serving and you've got yourself a sundae that no one wants to eat.

Last month I released my first novel, The Land We Belong To, and I figured that I already knew the fundamentals of the situation. Dare I say it, I was tempted to believe that I was aware of everything on my side of the fence. However, this is when I learned that I am also the credited author of over 9 Christian Romance books!

Now, I am about as romantically inclined as a frog; not one that is waiting to be kissed by a member of the royal family or one whose legs are coveted by the French. Just a regular, happy frog. I will be the first to admit that my heart does flutter in my chest each Valentines' Day, but only because February 15th (the sweeter of the two days) promises delicious candies at discount prices. So you can imagine my shock when I scrolled through my goodreads.com author profile and found that gushy hits like A Match for Love, A Call for Love and many more have emerged from the Grace Hall dynasty.

What does one do when they are accidentally assumed to be the author of so much Love? As I contemplate this haunting question, I will respectfully quote Michael Jackson, "Billie Jean is not my lover. She's just a girl who claims that I am the one. But the kid is not my son."
