I got my book finally edited in late Dec. I am in talks with an illustrator and am hoping to move thru that will minimal changes. It's exciting to think I am that much closer to releasing this book. I have also been working with Madalynne at #SunshineVA on driving subscribers to my website and looking for ARC readers. Alexa Bigwarfe at #WIP has been invaluable! I am anxious to attend her #WIPSummit this March.

Back in 2005, I had an idea for a book to publish by myself. Fast forward to 2020, I finally got a book written (not the one from 2005) . I still didn't know much about self-publishing so I worked with a hybrid publisher, Bluewater Publications, who helped me publish 3 books. That experience re-kindled my interest in self-publishing. So here I am in 2023 working on that original 2005 book with the intention to self publish. I have to say, for me, self publishing is sort of a misnomer because I have gotten a lot of help via the WIP and #Alexa Bigwarfe. It has been a big learning curve. I'll let you know how it's going along the way!
