Rick Silva grew up in Boston, Massachusetts, attended Cornell University and Curry College, and works as a high school science teacher. He is currently teaching oveseas. He worked for three years at a school in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and is now teaching in Shanghai, China, where he lives with his wife and son, and their very well-traveled cat. Rick has had several short stories published in anthologies by Apex Books, Crossed Genres, and Flying Pen Press, among others. He is working on his first novel, and has also collaborated on self-published and small press zines and comics.
