Book Updates:
So, I'm still working on Wide Open Country (Endless Sky #2) https://amzn.to/4iaMXbA and plan to have it done by the end of the month. This one has been a lot of fun to write and I know y'all are gonna love the dynamic between Ryder and Connor. They are truly incredible. There have been several scenes where I'm having an intense emotional reaction while I'm writing it and that's always a good sign :) Not to mention, the D/s relationship, age gap, and bondage thing is kind of awesome.
Next week is Thanksgiving here in the USA, so I'll be focusing mostly on that. But in between meals and sleeps I'm gonna get Merman's Bath ( https://amzn.to/44k5axF ) written for my Patreon supporters ( www.patreon.com/blakerwolfe ). I promise I'll have it up by the end of the month! So keep an eye out for that and join the patreon if you haven't already!
Once I'm finished with those projects, I will move on to Duskborn, Widdershins Academy #4 ( https://amzn.to/4rae9eZ ). The hope is to draft the entire thing in December, get it edited, and then push up the release date for the end of January to fill in some gaps. I'm confident I can make that deadline, especially once the holidays are over. After so much festivity, I have a tendency to turn into a real grump and just not leave the house for two weeks. And that means lots of writing time :)

Alright, now that that's out of the way, let's talk about books.
In the past week or so I've begun working on the second book in the Endless Sky series: Wide Open Country. This one also takes place in Hell Creek, Montana after the events of Hell Creek Boys. And let me tell you... the chemistry in this one is INCREDIBLE.
Here's the synopsis:"A record that won’t scrub clean. A ranch that won’t bend. And a love that risks everything.
ConnorThirty-five and fresh out after seven hard years in prison, I’m counting days and keeping my head down. Probation means curfews, clean tests, and no mistakes. McGrath Ranch is supposed to be a quiet stop on the way to a quieter life. All I have to do is mend fences, muck stalls, and then disappear when my probation is up. The owner is old-school to the bone: prayer at breakfast, rules carved in oak, and has zero tolerance for trouble. One slip, and he’ll have my PO on speed dial.

Author Blog: Getting Caught up on Short Stories
Hey y'all,
First off, we bought Luna (my black lab) a plaid hoodie and she's the cutest thing ever in it. Ignore her looking sad, she loves it. She's just mad I made her hold still for a picture. Also, did y'all see that beaver moon? It was the beaveriest.
This week was a LOT of playing catch-up. Over the weekend I wrote the bonus story for Beastkin ( https://amzn.to/47uT9Yv ) and then moved into the bonus story for Mischief and Mistletoe ( https://amzn.to/47PxCss ) as well. Both will be available exclusively when you subscribe to my Patreon ( www.patreon.com/blakerwolfe ). Not only that, but I'm working on the next set of Secret Mate Society letters this weekend. I'm getting close to the end of that story. Once all the original subscribers have their letters, I'll begin the process of creating a special edition for that book. My plan is to have it out sometime next summer :)
At this point I'm also starting to choose the next book I'll be working on. At this point I'm planning to do the next book following Hell Creek Boys ( https://amzn.to/47PxMjy ), which will be called Wide Open Country. This book will feature an ex-convict working under probation at a ranch where he quickly falls in love with the ranch owners son. There'll be some grumpy x sunshine, age gap, and of course lots of cowboy stuff :) My hope is to have it finished up by the end of November so I can have lots of time to prep for my February 2026 releases!
This seems like a lot to do all at once, but honestly... if I could write about 10 books by tomorrow, I'd feel a lot less stressed. Not because I'm behind, but because I just have SO MANY IDEAS in my head. It's hard to keep track of them all. At this moment I have at least 5 more Widdershins Academy I want to write, 3 more Sagebrush, at least 2 more in the new Endless Sky series (Hell Creek), another 4 fantasy books for World of the Forgotten, and I've already got ideas percolating in my head for the next big werewolf series I'll be launching at the end of 2026. I could literally write my entire to-do list through the end of 2027 right now.
I wish I could write faster, lol. But I'm already going at mach 10, so maybe speed isn't the answer. Still, so many ideas want to come out that it's hard to focus sometimes.
So yeah, I guess I'm just excited to get all these books out to you and I hope you're excited to read them!

Y'all... so much happening this week.
First off, I am dangerously close to the 50k words mark in Hell Creek Boys ( Preorder at https://amzn.to/3Jf92Je ) and there is SO MUCH SPICE. Wow. I don't think I've written a book with this much but I just can't stop these two characters from going at it every chance they get. But I'm having a good time with this one for sure :) I'm hoping to be done with the book completely by the end of next week. I've got some short stories to write during that time as well, so we'll see if I can get it all done in time!

So yeah, this week has been a lot of writing, a lot of packing for the shop, and just general keeping up with things as the holidays move in. I'm not sure if people have started their Christmas shopping yet, but I know I have. I always try to have all the presents for the boys before our tree even goes up. I like to be prepared and I hate when things go out of stock. And this year, with all the crazy tariff junk, I have no idea how weird things are gonna get. So best to be ready I suppose. Speaking of which, I will do my best to keep the shop stocked for y'all. Thankfully I'm not having too much trouble getting a hold of anything yet, so we should be good for the moment!

Author Blog: Oh no stepbro, what're you doing?!
Hey y'all,
Well, it's finally started. I have begun writing my very first gay stepbrother taboo romance :) And, not the least bit surprising, I've been PUMPED about working on this for so long that I've already written twelve chapters in the past week! I'm having so much fun writing this tension between Jesse and Cole... it is so delicious.
For those of you that don't know, this new book is the first in a darker cowboy series called Endless Sky that takes place in Montana. Now, I have NOT watched Yellowstone, but from the clips I've seen about it, I feel like it needs a lot more gay. So that's kinda the vibe I'm going for. Each book explores some taboo romance, has some darker themes, and a bit more angst that what I usually write. I'm also planning on making the sex scenes a bit more intense. Author Blog: Sagebrush #6 is done!
Hey y'all!
Well, book 6 of Sagebrush and the first Christmas Special of the series is done! Right now I only have it up for preorder on Amazon ( https://amzn.to/4nDUBNG ). As soon as the editing is done I will order physical copies to put up for preorder in my store. The book is being released on Nov 3rd, so with Prime Days and the holidays coming up, I'm not sure I'll have them here in time for release, but I'm gonna try!
This book was a ton of fun to write and it was SO cute. I really enjoyed leaning into the characters this time and their interactions instead of focusing so much on conflict. There was some conflict toward the end that was resolved in a most dramatic fashion, but I'd say the book has a sweet and spicy sort of Hallmark vibe, which I think is important in a Christmas book. Either way, I know y'all are gonna love it!

Well, book 6 of Sagebrush and the first Christmas Special of the series is done! Right now I only have it up for preorder on Amazon ( https://amzn.to/4nDUBNG ). As soon as the editing is done I will order physical copies to put up for preorder in my store. The book is being released on Nov 3rd, so with Prime Days and the holidays coming up, I'm not sure I'll have them here in time for release, but I'm gonna try!
This book was a ton of fun to write and it was SO cute. I really enjoyed leaning into the characters this time and their interactions instead of focusing so much on conflict. There was some conflict toward the end that was resolved in a most dramatic fashion, but I'd say the book has a sweet and spicy sort of Hallmark vibe, which I think is important in a Christmas book. Either way, I know y'all are gonna love it!

This new series will be darker and grittier than Sagebrush and a whole lot hotter and more taboo, so I hope you're excited, because I sure am! I will continue to write Sagebrush, but I was feeling like I needed something less sweet in my life for a moment :)
What I'm working on now: Sagebrush #6 - Christmas Novel
So, this past week I've been writing my tail off working on Sagebrush #6. I'm past the halfway point now and trying to get as much done as I can. Since it comes out on Nov 3rd, I wanna make sure I have enough time for edits and formatting before it goes live.
Now that I've made it to the halfway point, I've forced our two main guys together (they resisted for a long time, lots of banter, tons of grumpy x sunshine scenes) . (Light spoilers) Thanks to northern Texas weather being unpredictable, it started snowing. And also thanks to the rarity of snow in Texas, the roads got shut down. So lets bring on the "there's only one bed left at this hotel" trope. And I'm sure you can guess what happens from there.
I won't give away any more than that, but suffice to say, it was a HOT night.
Y'all are gonna love this book, I am SURE of it. I have never laughed out loud so many times writing a book before. And thanks to help from my partners, we've got some amazing banter in the story that's just... SO PERFECT. God I really love Diego and Hayden. They are some of the best characters I've ever written.
Beyond that, I'm working on keeping up with orders this week and bringing in more inventory. We had a very active week on Tiktok and that means I'm already out of stock for a couple of books. But don't worry, more will be here next week. AND I'm hoping that the Sagebrush Special Editions will finally arrive either Monday or soon thereafter.

Author Blog: Sagebrush #6 BEGINS
Hey all,
Welp, here I am, writing ANOTHER Christmas book. It dawned on me earlier this year that most authors have a few holiday books to offer to people during that time of year and I have zero. So I did Sigma's Holiday for Tellurian (so we could have some werewolf christmas) and now I'm doing Mischief and Mistletoe so we can have some cowboy Christmas!
Key Points:
Dolly is featured heavily in this book as the aunt of our main character, Hayden
There will be a surprise snow storm on Christmas, of course
Mistletoe kisses will happen. Probably multiple times
Sassy banter between a grumpy Hayden and a sunshine Diego
So I hope you're all looking forward to this book because it's already REALLY fun to write and I'm only three chapters in so far. My plan is to try to pull double duty on this one (two chapters per day) over the next week to get as much done as I can!
Release for Book #6 is on November 3rd, that's ONE WEEK after Beastkin comes out. It's a bit of a squeeze to get two books done back to back so quickly, but I wanted to make sure I gave myself a full two months off over the holiday season without having to worry about writing. That being said, Mischief and Mistletoe will post on Patreon during the month of November, but the book will already be out.
That's not exactly how I wanted to do it, but I'll need the recovery time to start working on another piece for y'all. But that also means that the books posted in December/January will be books NOBODY has access to yet :) And don't worry, I'll still be working on Bathhouse Beasts and bonus stories during November/December.

Blake R. Wolfe Author Blog: Finishing up Widdershins Academy #3
Hey all,
So I figured I'd start giving you updates on what I'm working on and maybe give you some sneak peeks into the stories as well. I wanted to make these a little more writing oriented and keep you in the loop on what I'm working on next.
Right now I'm working through the final phases of act three for Beastkin, the third in the Widdershins Academy series. This book has a witch x Beastkin (think beauty and the beast meets sasquatch) pairing that I've been having a lot of fun with. Phoenix, our fire proficient witch, is trying to escape from his parents who are NOT good people. We know they've been controlling him since day one, but we don't find out what extreme measures they've taken until later on in the book. And, poor Phoenix, is blind to their abuse since he's been putting up with it his whole life.
Karrick, the Beastkin, was one of the (SPOILERS) victims of Damien Cromwell in book one. He's taken a year off of school to recover and do some therapy, but now he feels he's ready to go back and complete his education. And, being a Beastkin, he needs his sports again as a way to burn off all that excess energy.
Karrick and Phoenix were childhood friends together, but haven't seen one another since they were ten/eleven years old.
And OF COURSE, they run into one another and all hell breaks loose. Secrets come out, magic bursts forth, and they find out that things are not nearly as simple as they thought. And just when they think they're safe and things are going their way, everything goes wrong again, as it tends to do in these kinds of stories. :)
