Today is national peanut butter day. I love these little holidays they are always so much fun.

If you enjoy peanut butter then you will enjoy this delicious treat.


5 INGREDIENTS

Condiments

16 oz Peanut butter, creamy or crunchy

Pasta & Grains

3 1/2 cups Cocoa Rice Krispies

Baking & Spices

1 lb Powdered sugar


Snacks

12 oz Semi-sweet chocolate melting wafers

Dairy

1/2 cup butter

Jasper stood by the window. It had been a long-drawn and an emotional day. As she gazed up at the moon, her eyes filled with tears. "Where are you, Isabel?" She thought about the people that were influenced by the gas. She couldn't let go of the vision of the one man that was murdered right in front of her. Tears fell from Jasper's eyes as she turned and dropped onto the bed. She had held a lot in since all of this began. For the first time, she felt as if things were hopeless. She lay there and cried for the longest time.
Nick sat up with a strange expression on his face. Jake listened as he realized he could hear Jasper crying in his head. He noticed Nick's reaction and spoke inside his head, can you hear her too? Nick peered over at him and nodded. Jake's eyes grew wide, he was like them.
"John, I'm going to check on Jasper. It's been a difficult day, and I need to make sure she's alright" As he headed out the door, he glanced back at Nick. He seemed as puzzled as Jake felt. "I'll talk to you later, Nick. Have a good sleep."
John got up too. "Yes. I'll let you sleep. We'll talk more tomorrow." Outside the room, John looked at Jake. "He seems okay. Can you keep an eye on him?" Jake nodded and went towards Jasper's room.

I'm so glad summer is finally in sight, I know for a lot of you winter is still rearing its frozen head but here we are sitting beneath the sunshine with the hope of it staying.

A few hours later, the house became alive. She could hear Isabel in the kitchen, making breakfast and Jake in the washroom gargling with mouthwash. Marcy and Beth sat at the table talking about how they slept and how it was helpful not to be alone during all this. Isabel wandered into the living room, "Oh, you are up. I thought you were still asleep." Jasper paused her show and looked up at her. "I have been up since four. That is not something I want to make a habit of," she laughed. "Oh, by the way, there is a video on my phone you're going to want to see. I was out having a smoke this morning, and I couldn't believe it. I saw a man standing on the street corner, and the police drove by him twice without arresting him for violating the curfew. They acted like they didn't even see him. With all the murders and missing folks, how can they let him be out there without questioning him?"
Isabel sat down in the chair next to her, "Wow! That doesn't seem right or even possible, knowing how serious they are about keeping the streets empty at night." Grabbing the phone, Isabel headed to the kitchen. "I'll have a look at it as soon as I'm finished making breakfast.
Jasper jumped up and followed her into the kitchen. "Are you making bacon?" Isabel giggled, "Yes, I'm making bacon."
Jasper grabbed a seat next to Beth. "I heard the voices again. It said, It's almost time not that I get it or anything. But maybe, just maybe it's essential." Marcy looked at Jasper. "I've heard you refer to the voices before. Can I ask what all they have said?" Jasper turned to her, "Well, I've heard them talk about doing something, asking if it's complete. I've heard them say, Did you follow instructions? Are they secure for the night? What did you find out? Jasper paused for a moment as if trying to remember everything. "Oh yeah! And I heard them speak about a mission. I'm not sure what any of this means. I wonder if it's linked to anything else that's going on." Marcy nodded, "Sounds like they are up to something." Isabel grabbed the food and some plates and headed to the table. "I'm pretty sure we'll have to figure out how on our own. Jasper reached over and grabbed some bacon. "Mmmm, this smells so good."
