When Deborah Dilks aka Debby Dilks retired from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Computing and Engineering in 2017, she started writing books. To date, she has three biographies written (Miss Kansas City Kitty, Mrs. Kansas City Kitty and From WW2 to the Run of the Year. She also has four cozy mysteries written, (Murder Among Friends, Peculiarities at the Picnic, Killing the Kansas City Shuffle and Murder at the Pickwick Hotel) Three books are under the pseudonym Juliet Sidonie. There are plans to write several more books in the Miss Markham Mysteries series. Debby lives with her husband on a farm north of Buckner, Missouri. Searching for him and his family started my interest in genealogy. I discovered that his father committed suicide just days after my father was born and his mother disappeared when my grandfather was a young child. I still don't know what happened to her.
