Oh, drat, you're probably the 5th person I heard was there too late to meet up with! Did you see Jim Butcher? We were there very early and since I was in a wheelchair and was right at the front of the disability services line, I was able to sit right in front, it was awesome! If you follow the link in my profile to my blog, I've written up a report with mentions of all the authors I met, all the people I saw, and general thoughts on it - go check it out! Feel free to comment about your experiences, too!

Hi, neighbor! Always happy to meet other readers, especially who live relatively nearby! I was up in the ATL area all weekend for Dragon*Con, too bad we didn't meet sooner!Just a quick tip, I notice you are replying to profile comments here; the person to whom you are replying will not receive a notification to know you have responded. To make sure they see your response, you should instead go and make the return comment on their profile. Took me almost a year and a half to figure that out, so I like to pass the info along!
Welcome to Goodreads; let me know if I can help you find your way around!
No big. I'm just happy to be creating right now. I promised myself if I can just get a few good readers. I'll be content ... for now. LOL ;-)Thanks for the info though. I'm having fun already.
Sorry about the delay, Joseph. For some reason, Goodreads doesn't notify other members when someone replies from their profile. If I hadn't remembered to check back, I'd still be in the dark. Just want to say that there's definitely a learning curve trying to navigate the ins and outs of the publishing world. But it's a thrill to see other people get a kick out of reading your work and that makes it all worthwhile. Cheers.
Kevis wrote: "Hi Joseph. Thanks for the friend-vite. Great to meet a filmmaker among the ranks of authors on this site. Looking forward to checking out your work."Cool. Yeah I'm hoping to get my novel out there soon. But I think it's great to meet people who have the dual-ability. ;-) Let me know when you're ready to start talking filmmaking 'cause hopefully I can get you on the right track.
