Mike Figliola is a novelist, poet, and television and radio producer. His debut novel, The Slow Midnight on Cypress Avenue, has drawn comparisons to the work of Henry Miller and Charles Bukowski for its gritty lyricism and vivid portrayal of New York life.

Having lived in New York City for more than three decades, Figliola has written hundreds of poems and performed his work at legendary venues including the Cornelia Street Café in Greenwich Village and as a featured poet with Brooklyn Poetry Outreach.

Been some time - but it's been that kind of year no?

I remain hard at work on the follow to the Slow Midnight - getting there! I hope to have something more complete by end of February. Look for a fall release!
