Birth Time Vs Birth Day

I felt more exuberant when I started celebrating my birth time rather than my birthday. I woke up every day at 3.30 am my birth hour and remembered God for having me on this earth. The days were more vibrant and more productive.

Is Racism a wrong programming of mind ? A short story

Many Gods were utterly disturbed over a boiling issue that happened at their favorite planet. They all demanded an urgent conference of the Council of Gods and sent a request to Supreme God.
The Supreme God looked at the graveness of the agenda. He scheduled an assembly of all Gods.
Gods live at different planets and stars in this sprawling and scattered universe.
Then a fundamental question arises, how they meet up?
To answer the query- they join up to discuss always like how we meet today after the Covid-19 pandemic.
They called for a virtual conference. Gods have been discussing by virtual means since the big bang era, the technique we are proud of today. The Supreme God holding the Supreme chair made of unknown brilliant metals presided over the meeting.
He declared the assembly open to the discussion. There were thousands of participants. A God opened the discussion, he seemed heartbroken as if arriving after witnessing an excruciating tragedy.
Looking at his morose mood the Supreme God persuaded him to speak, “Please say the matter frankly you wish to.”
He thanked the Supreme God for his ministration. He said, “Sir if you remember sometime back (thousands of years are few moments for gods) we created life on a tiny planet called Earth. Supreme God looked at his records on his giant Skytop screen and agreed, “Yes I can see here on my screen, we did.”
The concerned God replied, “Thank you, sir, for this kind acknowledgment.”
He continued, “I want to express upon the fact that we have begun a pilot study of life at a tiny planet called Earth and the results of experiments are terrible.”
The Supreme God frowned and asked, “How?”
The concerned God elaborated. He said, “The bio-technologists of heavens produced the genes of two classes, Animals and Humans. In humans, they have done a mistake.”
The Supreme God didn’t like the word ‘mistake’ and intervened, “Mistake!”
The concerned God replied, “I am coming upon the nature of the mistake, sir. “
He continued, “The bio-technologists team made genomes of Animals and Humans. The creation of animals needed no major brain programming. It needed a complex brain technology in Humans and our bio-technologists designed the Human brain applying the highest technology we ever had. They made complex research and created the Human genome responsible for an intelligent brain. Finally, our Genome Factory produced assorted types of genes for the creation of Humans and Animals.”
The Supreme God said, “Yes I know, I understand the team has done a brilliant job.”

The concerned God reckoned, “I agree to that sir, the team has done a brilliant job, but in humans, the team introduced an organ called Eyes, in fact, two eyes. The function of eyes is to sense the color of the objects.”
The Supreme God interrupted, “Yes very much, the eyes are interesting and novel organs to design, I saw those research papers and approved the research.”
God replied, “You are very much correct sir, we all appreciated the research. But it has caused an issue or a mess there.”
The Supreme God and all others God became active on the Skytop screen and asked, “What kind of mess?”
The concerned God said, “The bio-technologists designed Humans with a different color of skin, some beautifully dark and others not dark but. As I said, the Human eyes were programmed to perceive different colors. That was fine for the sake of variety. But our bio-technologists have committed an error in signal engineering of the brain for sensing and liking of colors. They programmed the brain of humans in such a way that the black color Humans is not very well psychologically appreciated by white Humans. The name of this error of signal among Humans is Racism.”
The Supreme God understood, “This is a big problem and causes inequality.”
The concerned God agreed, “This is exactly happening. “
The Supreme God declared, “We don’t like such mistakes. The bio-technologist team may be informed of this mistake.”
The Supreme God asked for advice from fellow Gods on the Skytop screen to resolve the issue. Many opined to remove color signals from the Human brains. But the concerned God objected the idea of color blindness to Humans considering that the beauty we have created on this planet Earth cannot be enjoyed by the brainy Humans if we make them color blind.
The Supreme God asked the concerned God, “Then what we do?”
The God politely replied, “Sir, this is a fault of programming, we can undertake a reprogramming of the brain in Humans.”
The Supreme God responded with grace, “Agreed, this idea appears sensible. Humans need a better brain design.”
The moral of the story - We need to reprogram our brains for Social Harmony.

Peppered Minds

Change is the only constant. Change is inevitable in our lives. As our lives are slowly transformed, we keep several experiences in life close to us, close to our hearts. Notion Press, India’s leading self-publishing platform, presents a fictional literary insight that delves into revealing blatant issues that contribute to the lack of innovation, misconduct and all kinds of frenzy we see in today’s world through the book Peppered Minds by Om Somani.
Peppered Minds vividly defines the journey of a young geologist, Neeraj, standing at the starting point of his professional life. He possesses an imaginative mind that conjures up a thesis presented on a brainstorming
session for the welfare of his motherland. Neeraj was raised with conservative roots stemming from a middle-class god-fearing family and decides to pursue his professional passion all the way from Jaipur to Hyderabad. Peppered Minds is a lighthearted account of several bitter and heartening experiences that Neeraj encounters on the way; be it meeting an astrologer, going on a rail journey away from home, or even joining his new office in Hyderabad and accomplishing a successful geological expedition in the unforgiving wild. The narrative keeps you engaged as you’re enlightened with Neeraj’s tryst with interesting yet quirky characters and learn more about the mindset, personal traits, beliefs and cultures followed by a large cross-section of India’s population.
The story offers a peek into the lives of people we hear about in reality, people we know that exist in different parts of our country, yet, people we neither see all that often nor know anything about. Additionally, Om Somani, being a geologist himself, aims to depict several interplays of events that envelope geologists, their work, their workspaces, and their beloved fields. Shout out to that momentous event that overwhelms Neeraj in his encounter with the Moon and dives into the unbelievable history of human existence on Planet Earth. Even as the book tackles real-life instances and issues, it manages to tickle your funny bone in a few chapters.
Peppered Minds author Om Somani, born in Cambay, Gujurat and raised in Rajasthan, is a geologist by profession and has effortlessly worked in different parts of India. As much as he loves his workspace, he enjoys going out on field expeditions amongst which many were in the most remote areas across the country. He has had the opportunity to study rocks from various terrains and the minerals associated with it extensively. That’s not all! Along with rocks, he was able to explore the mindset and lives of people in these regions as well. This knowledge has been a source of inspiration for Somani to pen the life of a fresh geologist inducted in a company along with other situations in the life of geologists in general, both personally and professionally. Through Peppered Minds, Somani offers a clue for the pill of wisdom that can lead to the transformation of minds to effectively compete with the developed world. He indulges in reading, meeting people, touring, yoga and meditation as forms of recreation. Currently, Somani resides in Ahmedabad.
Set in the 1990s, Peppered Minds by Om Somani may induce a spirit of nostalgia within adults who were raised in the same era and has the capability to be a fascinating read for the youth. peppered minds
