Bee is a writer, book reviewer, copy editor but above all - a book lover. They wrote their first ‘novel’ when they were eight years old, the exciting tales of Desmond the Bear (written in beautiful purple crayon and unfortunately lost to time)

They have released two novellas, What If and Constellations, available now from most online retailers.

Healing in ReVerse is their first poetry collection, inspired by their own experiences with trauma, disability, and healing, failing and healing again. Thank the Goddess for therapy.

If I'm struggling, I'll usually find a few writing prompts and try writing a couple articles.

If that doesn't work, I'll usually take a theme from whatever I'm currently working on, and write a quick scene about it.(less)

I’ve been so excited to read this one — Hera is a titan, so I’ve never expected her to act as a human woman would, but she’s always shown as jealous, angry, violent. While her behaviour has been unforgivable so many times, I’ve always wondered if she ...more

Much like the author, I’ve always been intrigued by the lingering presence of Sycorax in the tempest. Often even considered one of the “villians” even though she’s long dead, painted as a foul hag, as someone who still gets in the way, never knowing ...more

Written just breathtakingly — such vivid, beautifully crafted prose but without being overbearing so it read like butter, immediately settling into the story and being absorbed in the magic.

It gave good backstory for people not intricately versed in

Is This a Cry for Help? by Emily R. Austin

It’s not exactly a surprise me to rate an Emily Austin book full marks, but there’s a reason I just keep doing it.

This book is just stunning; Austin’s usual level of high readability and buttery prose, a dash of almost too relatable modern struggles

This is a classic retelling a classic, a testament to life and art colliding as Keller recounts a tale of two young farmers in Germany who came to a fatal ending over familiar feuds and links it back to the classic Shakespeare tragedy.

A timely, impactful little book that attempts to process how the modern world is disrupting basic human instinct like sleep, how capitalist society keeps us tired, more susceptible and stressed, so we buy more and don't argue. I didn't quite find a f ...more
