Create a Life You Love by Stephanie May Wilson
"“Adult lives aren't puzzles to complete — they're collages to create.”

I love, love, love, this book. I’ve been following Stephanie since the very beginning of her podcast so many years ago, and I’ve been so uplifted and encouraged by her words, and b" Read more of this review »

"All the cozy magical feel of Howl’s Moving Castle. Loved the younger main characters learning how to run a house (the independence themes are so fun, reading this book feels like the first time your parents left you alone in the house by yourself) — " Read more of this review »
The Story Peddler by Lindsay A. Franklin
"This trilogy is a great example of how to craft a trilogy! Characterization, raising the stakes, exploring the story world, escalating danger, and dredging up character’s deeper questions to the surface. The visual allegory aspect of the trilogy warm" Read more of this review »

“Writing is a very spiritual aspect of my life because stories were what originally gave me the desire to seek God with everything in my power. Fairy tales, great fantasy stories, and classics, they all helped me understand certain concepts in the Bible, such as developing and keeping a child-like wonder. They gave me examples of what Christ-like sacrifice looked like. I believe those stories glorify God in some way.”
Courtney Kleefeld, A Prayer Book for Writers

“Love is not a feeling in your chest; it is bending down to wash another's feet.”
Andrew Peterson

“A thing resounds when it rings true,
Ringing all the bells inside of you,
Like a golden sky on a summer eve
Your heart is tugging at your sleeve,
And you cannot say why...
There must be more”
Andrew Peterson

“In the fairy tale, an incomprehensible happiness rests upon an incomprehensible condition. A box is opened and all evils fly out. A word is forgotten and cities perish. A lamp is lit and love flies away. An apple is eaten and the hope of God is gone.”
G.K. Chesterton, Orthodoxy

“The Christian does not think God will love us because we are good, but that God will make us good because He loves us.”
C.S. Lewis

“Pain insists upon being attended to. God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our consciences, but shouts in our pains. It is his megaphone to rouse a deaf world.”
C.S. Lewis
