If history were taught in the form of stories, it would never be forgotten

– Rudyard Kipling

I have always loved history since I was a child. When my parents passed away I began to research my family tree and quickly became addicted. My hobby turned into self employment and for some time I researched and wrote people’s loved ones biography. My love of my home county and my intrigue into the people that walked these streets before me, led to my research into the history of local buildings, the families and their lives.

You can now find me tucked away sifting through dusty documents, piecing together the stories of those that were before me.
