The Artist's Way
I just started the book "The Artist's Way" by Julia Cameron which was recommended by a friend. It outlines a 12-week course about unblocking and revealing one's inner creativity (writing, painting, acting, directing, etc). I'm hoping to relieve my writer's block so I can started on my third novel, as well as evolve spiritually as a result of recovering my creativity. I'll keep you posted!

Still blocked
I still have Writer's Block (it's real)! I've spoken with my editor who has given me some great ideas, but I'm just not feeling it yet. I need to relax and let the inspiration come. I've written a medical thriller, a psychological thriller and what's next? He thinks maybe a domestic thriller........

2022
2022 goals: read, read, read; start my third novel; travel to warm places; elevate my pickleball game; let go of things that are out of my control; love and be loved.

Writer's Block?
I recently talked at a book club about how I had never suffered from writer's block. I think I jinxed myself, because it's plagued me since. I want my third medical thriller to be amazing, but can't quite find the main plot line. My goal will be to start writing in Jan of 2022, so send your good vibes my way : )

Brainstorming
Hello! Now that STONE COLD BLACKOUT and FEAR of FEAR are published, and now available on Hoopla as well, I'm brainstorming on my next plot. It will definitely be another medical thriller!

Book Clubs
I enjoy attending book clubs and answering questions about my books. A common question is: "Do you get writer's block?" Writer's block is something I don't really experience. As an emergency physician for 30 years, I learned to multitask pretty well. I can watch the news and scratch out a few paragraphs at the same time. Of course, the writing is pretty raw and needs work before I'm happy with it, but it's a start!

3-4 books at a time!
I usually have three or four books going at the same time: One on Kindle (night time, before bed), one or two paperbacks (one serious or self-help, one novel), audio (usually via Hoopla while I'm walking or working out).
I can mostly keep them straight, but occasionally get a plot or two mixed up : )

I love to read
I became enamored with Nancy Drew mysteries when I was a pre-teen. Since that time I've been obsessed with thrillers, mysteries, suspense and other genres. As a physician, I especially like medical thrillers
