A day in the life...
Why did I decide to start this blog? Who knows. Maybe it's because I am on my third cup of coffee, and my brain is going one hundred miles an hour. Maybe it's because I'm avoiding work. Or maybe it's because I want to connect with more readers. Yeah, let's go with that one.
It is true - I love to connect with readers. When writing is a part-time gig, and you fight to stay in the headspace and stay motivated, connecting with others in that community helps keep me focused and motivated.
While writing full-time is my dream, it is not my reality. The reality is that I am a working wife and mom to adult kids. Contradiction, I know, but I swear parenting adult children is more difficult than the little ones.
So - a day in my life consists of a very early morning workout, lots of coffee, work, then home to enjoy a walk with my hubby and beagle, and THEN, I squeeze in some writing. One day, I will reach my dream of being a full-time writer. Until then, I keep chasing and enjoying the ride.
