Scott Austin Tirrell has always felt more at home in a crypt than a coffee shop. He writes epic dark fantasy about haunted kingdoms, ruined faiths, buried gods, and souls sharpened by suffering. He is the author of the Absolution of the Morning Star series and other stories set in the world of Lucardia, where the dead do not always rest, gods are rarely innocent, and salvation often comes with blood on its hands.

When Scott writes, it is not only to tell a story, but to open the doors polite people leave locked. What if the afterlife is not a release, but a prison? What if the gods we revere are not saviors, but jailers? What does redemption look like when the line between good and evil has been blurred beyond recognition?
