An Interview with Clarence

 The Coincidences of Life...

A while ago, I received a message from a girl named Alba. Of course, her name caught my attention, as it’s the same as the protagonist of Stray Witch. But that wasn’t all. To top it off, she was asking for an appointment with Clarence (as if I were his secretary or something!) for an interview.

This story, which may sound made up, is completely true. But her name was Alba Peláez (not Alba Lumin, because she probably knows how to contact Clarence directly).

Head to my website blog to read this fascinating interview and find out how it ended up for Alba.

Witches' Elements and Writing The End

It has been such a bittersweet feeling, writing The End to this book and this series. This story is very dear to me, and its end marks the end of many other things. Feels like the end of an era...

In this last book, our favourite witch will have to cast an elemental spell to defeat the most powerful vampire in the world... there might also be a proposal, with a vampire hanging upside down from a tree in a graveyard, a ring falling on her eye, and the possibility she might say no because... read i...

Upcoming books, Madrid & a Dark Secret

I JUST GOT BACK FROM MADRID, and yes, I am going to show you photos of my trip...

BUT FIRST, I need to reveal to you an extremely important secret (and no, it's NOT about my upcoming witch & vampire book). As for the trip, let me just say it was a-ma-zing! Right when I was on the edge of writer's burnout, I had the most incredible time, met lots of fellow authors and came back with plenty of ideas for new books... and, actually, this is how I figured out Santa's best kept secret. I know it's not ...

I have news for those who are waiting for Witches' Elements!

WITCHES ELEMENTS BY EVA ALTON Witches' Elements is the final book in The Vampires of Emberbury Series

TL;DR: New pre-order date: 14th of July 📅

✍️ Long version:

I didn't feel comfortable with the pre-order date I had set for June 2022, and I realised I've been putting too much pressure on myself to finish this book. 2021 was a trying year personally and professionally, and I'm also working on soooo many projects at once that I really need a break next month! So, after...

Writing, Motivation and Cheese Sandwiches

What do leaky taps and dead rodents have in common?

This year has been an insane rollercoaster personally and professionally (at least for me!), but most of all it has been a great lesson in survival, endurance and empathy. It has also been incredibly inspiring. There have been hard times, but also some wonderful times, and lots of times in between. I'm so glad I got to share some of the good ones with you, and I'm so grateful you are still there right now, reading this.

Witches' Masquerade by Eva Alton

Alba and Clarence are back, and this time they are travelling to the South of France to retrieve an ancient grimoire, which is their only hope of defeating death! Clumsy witch Alba will have to deal with her growing powers, which are getting a little out of control, while Clarence will face VERY serious problems of his own...

This novel is the darkest in the series, and you can expect major shifts and an ending that will leave no one indifferent!
