My New Place After 25 Years In My Old Apartment

I wasn’t ready to move. I didn’t want to move, as I loved many things about my old apartment. I had lived there for my entire adult life after moving out of my parents’ home, but after three winters in a row with broken heat that the slumlords had no intention of fixing, it was time to go, and I’m so glad I did.
