A Catholic Response to the Jehovah's Witnesses

I've just had this book republished at an affordable price. It has engendered a lot of interest.
It is different from the biographies I usually write.
Over the years, my husband and I have had many conversations with the JWs and this book is the response.
I wanted to explain where their interpretations of the Scriptures were flawed.
I wanted to say why I considered their interpretations were flawed.
I was always very saddened when one of them would say they were ex-Catholic and knew that there were many ex-Catholics among them.
Catholics had told me that they didn't know how to respond to the JWs, whose beliefs seemed very plausible when they quoted Scripture.
So I wanted to give Catholics some responses they could say to the JWs - that there is a Catholic response.
I wanted to show the Catholic faith based soundly on the Scriptures.
I wanted to show that, for me, the Catholic Faith is much more satisfying than the JWs and how much I love it and love Jesus and the life of the Trinity I live given to me through the Sacraments.
JWs have said that the most difficult people to convert are Catholics who are rooted in their faith and in their love for God, even if they can't express it clearly. So don't worry.
But it is good to know that you can have both - a deeply rooted faith and an undertsnading of it that can be shared.

A new book, 'The Simplicity of Love'

This last year has been very busy. It all started last summer when I suddenly felt that the Lord was urging me to start writing again. I had alra]eady started a book on Marguerite Chevignard (Guite), St Elizabeth of the Trinity'sister, after reading the book by Jean Remy. It was in French, and I felt that she should be better known.
Even during her life people were saying, 'Elizabeth of the Trinity, a saint - Yes. But Mme Chevignrd even more so. They said that she radiated the presence of God without realizing she did so, as she put into practice her sister's spirituality in her life as a wife, a mother of nine children, and a widow when her ninth child was still a baby.
The biography entitled 'The simplicity of Love' will be coming out on 9th November, about the time of Elizabeth's feast day.
If you love Elizabeth, then I'm sure you'll enjoy this book.
