British born and raised but now living permanently in Spain, Steven has spent most of his adult life living in countries other than where he was originally brought into the World. This has led him to experience new cultures, ways of thinking, beliefs, ideologies, similarities and unfair differences.
Because of this, a common theme runs throughout Steven´s books – that of social justice. His first two novels, "The Butcherbird Tree" and "We Are the Tide", which form a two-book series, bring to light those in society that live with what are often erroneously described as personality disorders.
