Daniel Price is the author of The Flight of the Silvers, The Song of the Orphans, and Slick, the first of which was nominated for a Goodreads Choice Award for Best Science Fiction Novel in 2014.

His latest novel, The War of the Givens, was published by Penguin Random House/Dutton in March 2024.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the book. You'll be pleased to know that I'm 3-4 months away from submitting a full draft of THE SONG OF THE ORPHANS to Penguin. Once they're comfortable that the book isn't a hot raving mess, they'll carve a space for it on their release calendar. It's not coming right away, but it won't be a three-year wait either.

Flight of the Silvers is the sort of book that makes me despise discovering a series before it's off and running. I hate waiting! I listen to audio books at work and during this one I timed out of the system repeatedly because I was too busy listening to be typing. I don't really have any questions, so you needn't worry about answering. I just wanted to gush a bit. Besides, you should be writing. Write, man. Write! ;)
