Barry Pettman When you have completed your long worked on manuscript put it away for a couple of weeks. Then read it slowly and edit, edit, and edit. When complete …moreWhen you have completed your long worked on manuscript put it away for a couple of weeks. Then read it slowly and edit, edit, and edit. When complete repeat the process. Edit out everything that does not contribute to the progress of the story. You will be amazed how much better it reads when you have finished your final result.(less)
