ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Born in 1969 at his uncle’s house at Murshidabad in West Bengal, (India); He is a retired Junior Engineer (Civil). Although his profession is science and technology yet his mind and heart are all time dedicated to creative writing. He can move in such a lovely world of post-modern writing that is free and smooth.

Living in the natural surroundings in West Bengal, Ujjal Halder got an opportunity of knowledge and experience Bengali life and landscape which helped him to create his beautiful poems and short stories.

In his writing, we can see the picture of human life even from an adverse environment. He has many books of poetry and stories in Bengali. He follows his own good manner of writing.
