Over the years, Zak has worked in a variety of industries from hospitality, care, floristry, and retail. But his main industry, which spanned over 20 years, was in entertainment. He was a professional dancer and choreographer working in the UK and abroad.
Zak has discovered a new passion; writing, and has now given up the nine to five and is currently at university studying Creative Writing and English Language.

Zak Yates answered Goodreads's question: Where did you get the idea for your most recent book? The idea for the book is a follow on from the previous novel, but some of the settings and events that happen in the book came real life experiences from when I was rehearsing in Las Vegas many years ago.
