A lover of Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror, Matt Novotny has been an avid reader since childhood. Still firmly convinced that the worlds between the pages are more interesting than the one he lives in, Matt began writing in 2020 in order to escape the voices in his head, or at least quiet them down.

When not writing he spends time gaming, antiquing, or wandering in the mountains, A Colorado native, he lives in Littleton, Colorado, surrounded by ever-increasing piles of books, Lovecraft collectables, and unfinished home and garden projects.

Outdoors gonna outdoor…

Spring is my second favorite season in Colorado. While Fall takes the top spot, I love seeing everything green up. From the yard to the mountain parks, the return of real warm and my morning coffee by the firepit while the birds play in the fountain is a solid happy place for me. It also leads to the inevitable chores. Last week was “refresh the mulch” time. I moved

H.P. Lovecraft
“The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far. The sciences, each straining in its own direction, have hitherto harmed us little; but some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.”
H.P. Lovecraft
