Wenn wir nicht genug schlafen, fühlen wir uns in der Regel nicht wohl. Wir müssen irgendwann unseren Schlaf nachholen. Wenn wir aber tendenziell mit der Zeit immer weniger schlafen, so dass dies unbemerkt zu einer Gesundheitsgefahr wird, dann ist unsere Aufgabe schwerer geworden, weil das Nachholen ebenso einen langen Heilprozess mit sich bringt.

Dasselbe gilt für den Klimaschutz und für die Bildung als öffentliches Gut auf der Erde, sogar auch für den Frieden auf der Welt!

Aktuell im Jahr 2021 bin ich der Meinung, dass uns allen in diesen Bereichen ein Heilprozess bevorsteht.

Die Gesellschaft setzt sich hauptsächlich aus institutionalisierten Beziehungen zwischen Individuen zusammen, die – wenn wir uns über unsere Eigeninteressen und uns selbst nicht im Klaren sind – uns individuell und gesellschaftlich schaden können.

Das kann zum Beispiel bei unserer Kommunikation vorkommen. In der verbalen und nonverbalen Kommunikation kann sich die Gewalt verstecken. Als Mittel der Unterdrückung und Herrschaft bewusst eingesetzt oder im ungünstigen Moment versehentlich benutzt, können zum Beispiel Worte die Psyche eines gesunden Menschen viel härter treffen, als ein Bienenstich. Wie schützt man sich am besten, wenn gut organsierte Lobbyisten nach Wegen suchen, die Verbraucher mit verschiedenen Methoden zu hypnotisieren bzw. manipulieren wollen?

Was würde die künstliche Intelligenz dazu machen/meinen, ist heute keine Debatte wert, da es darauf ankommen würde, wer diese programmiert – es sei denn, wir hätten eine demokratische, globale Artificial Intelligence (AI)-Ordnung. Es ist aktuell nicht von AI oder Robotertechniken zu erwarten, einen nicht-diskriminierenden Lösungsansatz herzustellen/entwickeln, dass einen Großteil der Umweltschäden ausmacht. Nach Einschätzungen belaufen sich diese Kosten in den letzten vier Jahrzehnten etwa 5.000 Milliarden €.

Jedoch geht es immer wieder um unser Eigeninteresse und unser Wohlsein im Einklang mit der Natur und der Gesellschaft. Es geht darum, ein Beispiel zu geben, wie durch sozialen Zusammenhalt der Gesellschaft ein hoher Lebensstandard erhalten werden kann, ohne dabei die Ökologie der Erde zu schädigen.

In 2020 erlebten wir eine weitere problematische Entwicklung seit dem Ausbruch der Corona-Krise. Es gab keine stichhaltige wissenschaftliche Begründung für den Versuch, die Ausbreitung des Coronavirus durch zentrale staatliche Planung in Kombination mit einem massiven Eingriff in die Grundrechte zu unterbinden.
Keine Regierung hat sich bis heute an einer öffentlichen Debatte offen gezeigt, die bisherigen Maßnahmen zu diskutieren. Offene Fragen sind dabei unter anderem, ob durch die staatlichen Zwangsmaßnahmen wie bei einem länger andauernden Lockdown gerade auch gesellschaftliche und soziale Folgeschäden hervorgebracht/verstärkt werden. Viele Wissenschaftler aus unterschiedlichsten Forschungsdisziplinen argumentieren mit ihren Einschätzungen genau diesen Effekt, die solche Maßnahmen hervorbringen.

Anstelle alleine mit Fakten und Daten zu argumentieren, thematisiert das Buch Many Many Beginnings als gesellschaftlich engagierte Kunst und Literatur, auch Auswege, die jeden zum Mitdenken und Mitgestalten einlädt.

Diese Beziehungen definieren unsere Position und unsere Rolle im Innern der Gesellschaft und eine Frage bleibt nennenswert: Wie können wir gegen eine soziale und ökonomische Ausgrenzung steuern?

Many Many Beginnings hebt die Kunst und Literatur als Schutzmechanismen hervor und nimmt kritisch Stellung gegen jene Institutionalisierung der Beziehungen, wenn und wo sie eine Grundlage dafür schafft, dass ein Teil der Gesellschaft durch eine Minderheit manipuliert oder ausgebeutet wird, und die die Individuen daran hindert, sich selbst frei zu definieren, die eigene Beziehung zu Anderen ausgehend von einer Grundlage der Gleichheit zu definieren und, schlussendlich, über das eigene Leben gut informiert zu entscheiden.
Kunst und Literatur dient dabei als „Existenzform“, als Akt der gesellschaftlichen Integration sowie als Katalysator für soziales, solidarisches und kollektives Handeln. Die Wirkungen von Many Many Beginnings sind unterschiedlich. Seine Hauptthese, dass die Kunst und Literatur dazu anhalten können, Auge, Geist und Seele Ruhe zu gewähren abseits der medialen Bilder und Informationsflut, den Blick zu lenken auf das, was wesentlich ist, auf uns selbst. In einem weiteren Schritt aber befürwortet das Buch, dass Menschen am besten lernen, wenn sie zusammenkommen, um voneinander zu lernen! So spricht es unsere Sinne an, um Beziehungen zu stiften.

David Galentia, akademischer Mitarbeiter an der Hochschule Offenburg und Doktorand der KIT zum Thema nachhaltige Smart Cities, hat mich für das Projekt „Many Many Beginnings” und meiner Zeit an der Universität Freiburg in Deutschland interviewt. Wir sprachen über das Verhältnis des modernen Menschen zur Natur, über den Ordoliberalismus und der Freiburger Schule, aber auch über das Thema der breiten Bildung und über unterschiedliche Verhaltensstrukturen der Individuen. Sowohl in meinem Buch als auch im Interview geht es um die Kunst und Literatur, die die Wirtschaft bestimmen muss, in dem sie Missstände aufzeigen, und es Unrecht anzuprangern gilt. Dabei sind Provokation und Ironie bewährte Stilmittel. Nicht zuletzt kann Kunst und Literatur zum Handel und zum gemeinschaftlichen Tun motivieren.
Nach diesen Kriterien wurden Beispiele von Themen in dem Interview ausgewählt. Die im Interview angeregten Beispiele zeigen, wie KünstlerInnen und/oder Schriftsteller zum Nachdenken, mehr noch – zum gemeinsamen Tun – angeregt werden können.
Nach dem Motto:„

Höre Deine eigene Stimme”.


Thematisiert werden dabei ökologische, soziale und politische Aspekte um die Zentralthese:
Um eine menschliche Welt von morgen zu gestalten, müssen wir schon heute die Grundwerte vom „ich“ zum „wir“ verlagern. Vom Verfolgen egozentrischer Ziele hin zur Achtung vor dem Leben.

In Behavioral Economics, the idea of action bias — where some might feel the need to act in a way to control their environment and so create a bias toward needing to move when they don’t necessarily need to exists in the workplace. This is akin to when a soccer goalie is constantly moving from left to right, when they don’t need to.


Fads are another area that business need to be aware of — whether it be the current fad of “pivoting” to fulfill a popular approach that is occurring in the wider culture or the all too overused romantization of rebranding. A brands value should guide the trajectory of a business not cultural popularity.


Consistency is the name of the game as we need to be aligned with purpose - get 'back to basics' if you will and move ahead from there sustainably. From a zone of silence and of pure possibilities for a many many beginnings. Like a group of artists who practised a form of kinetic art using light and motion. Their art movement was called ZERO, still an attraction for many museums around the globe.

An important conversation on how Behavioral Economics needs to evolve and accept that social pressure is one of the key contributors to developing strict biases on gender identity.


‘’Men’s agency is likely to include not only an individual benefit from gendered institutions that favor men over women, but also actions that protect and sustain gendered institutions that work to their benefit. Such institutions interact with agency through the internalization of gender norms through men’s and women’s respective socialization.’’


This, among others, is a part of the explanation why selecting useful thoughts has become a lost art for humanity -the core of the book

Finally l am glad to read an article that is useful to show how prudent one needs to be selecting thoughts in experiment design to deal with interwoven dimensions of a fashionable topic of gender equality.

We need to be careful wherever art and literature, disguised in beauty, entertainment, or codes are used for subversion, rather than liberating, uplifting innocent souls.

To change the world means to change the future. To change the future means to change our own children. To change our children means to provide them education. This means education is a public good for our world.

Who is dividing our world, is who is dividing our education. Isn't it that all public goods provide equal access for free?

Then to see who is dividing and who is uniting and why is best explained if we look there where education is public good versus private good. Then we can look at statistics: From Switzerland to Austria, Germany to all over Nordic countries education including higher education is public good. Isn't it that all public goods provide equal access for free?

So why are in the most other parts of the world education is not free? Who is winning and who is loosing from this?

The different levels of quality in public services regarding education are important too. Of course! Nevertheless, in a society where education is seen as a public good, the crime levels are much less even though the quality in public services regarding education differs, compared others. Justice and reform are a commitment in the long term. I believe that art, literature, and science have been kept for too long-isolated, and this needs to be overcome, as our base for further discussion.

In my humble efforts, and as a first-time author, whose native language is not English, whose color is not black, whose mother’s women rights are not violated, and who never attempted suicide, I dared to help internalize: –

just in a few pages – to discuss our homework; where we can go and how we could go – together. Please initiate more fire in our summer camp. And we need to constantly reassess, our actions, moving forward. We are committed to seeking out and sharing diverse voices within our comunities, supporting those voices that need to be amplified. After all we are stronger together.. When will we learn that We are on this planet (Alighiero Boetti 1983) for fellowship?

Which language can transmit ideas most effectively?

And who is our audience?

Book Many Many Beginnings suggests that

"The enchanting features of fairy tales can disarm, take us off-guard sometimes; especially if they are used to discreetly shape our consciousness and sub-consciousness for an end. Throughout centuries this indoctrination aimed mostly to conform generations with certain social codes. Although our connectedness can blind us to other moral concerns, our common experiences are often among the most cherished of our lives. Our bee-like nature facilitates not only altruism or heroism but genocide and war, too. Consequently, understanding the power of unified consciousness, and questioning the intention of its originators is important."

“This crazy week right in the middle of the pandemic has given us a moment to pause, learn, and listen. We have been incredibly saddened, moved, and angered by the suffering of the black community around the world. At first, we struggled to find the rights words to say, but it is our job to open up to our privileges and biases; even when it is uncomfortable.


So where do we go from here?


Can we have new, fresh beginnings?


While stock exchanges are hitting records heights, we did not want the join the #blackouttuesday movement without thinking about what this meant in the long term, and the actions we can take to make a difference within in each our minds.


As we stand in solidarity against racism, oppression, violence, and injustice. there is a lot of work to do in all our communities. We intend to turn the lens on ourselves to become actively non-discriminating.


Racial justice and reform is a commitment to the long term.

And we need to constantly reassess, our actions, moving forward.


We are committed to seeking out and sharing diverse voices within our communities, supporting those voices that need to be amplified.


After all, we are stronger together..


When will we learn that We are on this planet for fellowship


When will the people of the World, get up and say, enough is enough?


Murders, oppression, violence, and injustice prefer not only black. We need to ensure now, before it is too late, that they target all different colors enveloped within one naked motive which is and has been throughout generations always the same.


We have been incredibly saddened, moved, and angered by the suffering of the black community around the World, but we are as much furious and sad as the suffering of other communities; especially the suffering of women, the suffering of our Nature, and the suffering of our democracies.


When will we learn?


When will the people of the World, get up and say, enough is enough?


We are on Earth to form the human family, existing together because we were made for one another.”



For all of us, doing better in the future means, starting close to home, at our gardens.


We do not have all the answers but we do hope to have an unbending will to seek them out.
