Hanne Buggild is driven by the creative spark that arises when words meet emotions, and when what remains unspoken is allowed to surface. Her first crime novel was published in 1998. After a long break from the genre, she now returns with an intense Nordic Noir trilogy, The Secret of the Pelican, that explores the gray areas of human nature, morality, power, and desire.

She lives in Copenhagen and has more than 25 years of experience in the sale and communication of sex toys.
