I'm sure you all can relate, but I spend a lot of time being beaten down by life. Stress from work, raising a family and running a household tends to take over and you lose the qualities that make you, "you." I've reflected on this during the past year and the last time I truly felt like my most authentic self was back in middle school, wrapped up in a blanket under the stars writing (really bad) poetry. That's why I am so proud to announce that my second book will be released on April 1st. It's not going to change the world. It's not great literature. It's not even going to change my day to day circumstances, but writing changes me. It brings me back to a place where I get to be creative and more myself than I have been in decades.
