Daniel M. Davis has had a lifelong enthusiasm for monsters, ever since he discovered his imaginary (monster) friend at the age of four.

Since then, Daniel has worked as a farmhand, paint mixer, bale bucker, bagel baker, rock picker, and graphic/web designer, but he was never able to abolish the creatures that filled his imagination.

In 2005, he and his wife Dawna, founded Steam Crow Press to bring his monster stories to life. To date, Daniel has illustrated 3 monster books; "Caught Creatures", "KlawBerry", and "After Halloween".
