John Box, who enjoys writing about himself in the third person cause it makes him feel written about, burst onto the literary scene in 1997 when he was published in his high school yearbook quoting Eazy-E and sending shouts out to his homies. He followed with his second achievement a year later, when he spray painted the word “vagina” on a middle school dumpster. Since then, he has penned several award winning works including “Anaconda,” “Freddy Got Fingered,” and “King Rear.”

“When I do good, I feel good. When I do bad, I feel bad. That's my religion.”
Abraham Lincoln

“I recognized the handwriting, and my heart gave a skip; when I opened it I got a turn, for it began, 'To my beloved Hector,' and I thought, by God she's cheating on me, and has sent me the wrong letter by mistake. But in the second line was a reference to Achilles, and another to Ajax, so I understood she was just addressing me in terms which she accounted fitting for a martial paladin; she knew no better. It was a common custom at that time, in the more romantic females, to see their soldier husbands and sweethearts as Greek heroes, instead of the whore-mongering, drunken clowns most of them were. However, the Greek heroes were probably no better, so it was not far off the mark.”
George MacDonald Fraser, Flashman

“Suffering doesn’t concern itself with the scale of other sufferings.”
Martin Amis, Money

“Pain is nature’s way of telling us that something is wrong. Patiently, pain goes on telling us this, long after we’ve got the message.”
Martin Amis, Money

“Like Olympic medals and tennis trophies, all they signified was that the owner had done something of no benefit to anyone more capably than everyone else.”
Joseph Heller, Catch-22

Thanks for reading and for the thoughtful review. If you post about it on your blog, please let your readers know that the Kindle version will be free from Fri 8/26 to Tues 8/30. This should be the link: http://tinyurl.com/guxb9kl

Also, if they search for "The Stars' Fault by John Box" in Amazon, it should come up on the first page. But after The Fault in Our Stars and various Shailene Woodley merchandise.

Kanpai! (Sorry if this was a duplicate. The first didn't seem to register as a reply.)
