Today I was reading ‘Homebody’ by Rupi Kaur, and this page struck me. This has been something I have been struggling with.

So I’m going to take a moment and be completely transparent.

Let me preface this by saying the last year and a half has been tough:

Pregnancy was a rollercoaster from the beginning: I was sick most days for the first three months.

Unfortunately, book three is postponed indefinitely. I apologize for the frustration and inconvenience this will cause to some of you. This pregnancy (and life in general) has not been easy to navigate. I know I’m not going to get it finished, edited, and proofread in 6 days. Good afternoon everyone! I wanted to give you an update on things as they stand currently. Book 3 may take a little longer to finish as I just found out I’M PREGNANT! My husband and I are thrilled to become new parents in December. With that being said, I’m moving a lot slower than I was and am combating morning sickness and fatigue most days and writing and editing are a lot of work. I apologize in advance for this one taking a while.

Today marks the first day of my mini-vacation! How am I spending it, you ask? With a large cup of coffee in hand and by working on book three! I’m hoping to meet the goals that I set for myself. If everything goes as planned, it will be released in mid-August of this year! I have roughly 30,000 words written and a ton of ideas in my head just itching to come out! Book three will be just as exciting as books one and two and I can’t wait for you to read it!
