Tara Arkle is a poet in residence at Sidcot School in North Somerset. She studied literature at Boston University, and lived and studied at The American College in Paris where her poetry was first published in Paris/Atlantic Magazine. A columnist, journalist, radio and TV presenter in London, she has also written for film and TV. In 2018 her screenplay won second place at The ReelHeART International Film and Screenplay Festival in Toronto and first place at The Moondance International Film Festival. On moving to the West Country her poetry appeared in The Bristol Poetry Festival 2014, and as part of Apples and Snake’s Scratch Spoken Word Group was part of the Bath Literary Festival 2019.
