Hello Timothy,
Thank you for asking! I am not sure I would call it amazed. I was in a mummy stage as there was also a female mummy found in S. Amer near the same time and so I began wondering about their lives and the stories they held. Then I found out that Ötzi had been murdered and found that quite a challenge to puzzle through.
His mummy's discovery has driven science and challenged the experts to reconsider and invent new technology and I find that impressive. He has a story to tell and ironically enough, those who killed him and left him to die alone and forgotten in the mountain pass over 5000 years ago are now completely erased from human conscience, but the one who was to be denied is now famous beyond belief. He's not the greatest to look at, but he is quite the interesting guy :)
Hope that helps.
Have you been interested by his story? Sorry it takes me a while to get back to these posts. I am still finding my way around Goodreads.
Thanks for stopping by. (less)

His world had failure and evil, but it also had bonds of brotherhood that went beyond tribes. His women were strong and refused to do as they were told, but they didn't bring discord. They brought healing, grace, and hope.(less)

Interview on the risks of writing

Canvas Rebel surprised me today with the live release of an interview we did together about taking risks as a writer.
I'm incredibly honored to be a part of their magazine celebrating entrepreneurs, community leaders, and creatives.

This was a different genre for me. I found the twists interesting and the suspense was solid. It did drag a bit about 2/3 through and I wondered why that section was added in detail. The ending was, however, an appropriate surprise and wrapped everyt ...more

“To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact you must give it to no one, not even an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements. Lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket, safe, dark, motionless, airless, it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable. To love is to be vulnerable.”
