Get To Know Our Two Human Personalities
Every life form and every non-life form comes with a basic design. Design is the basis of anything created. Creation is like the painter’s brush. An empty canvas is filled with colors and objects, transforming an empty space into something visually enchanting. Just like that, a human life form has its own design too. And what is that? This is a question that has evaded humankind for ages, centuries and beyond. From the start of Adam and Eve, humankind has been obsessed with using our body to create pleasures, pain, and purpose. Our history is filled with battles, war, conflicts, aggression and colonization of land, people, and material.
Human bodies were destroyed or conquered. Our greed to possess what we did not have, started all of this. Why was it not possible to talk to people and start a simple trade agreement: we want to buy this and in return we give you this- a fair exchange of goods and services.
War has been fought for many reasons throughout history. Blood has been spilled, kingdoms destroyed, and people slaughtered. Some battles played a significant role in history, some created legends which have been passed down through the generations. All of these ancient battles created great political and geographical change. Huge numbers of people were killed, and yet the battles continued. Some wars were the result of conflicts that could have been resolved in different ways. Often war was used to show a kingdom or country’s supremacy, and frequently led to the loss of innocent life. Nothing has changed from then. Nowadays wars are fought on the economic front: economic and political sanctions, and currency blockage, very less on the battleground, a few here and there ground battles, but significantly less in numbers than early times.
Here are some ancient battles fought as early as 1200 BC:
Battle of Kadash: 1274 BC.Battle of Red Cliffs: 480 BC.Battle of Salamis: 480 BC.Battle of Thermopylae: 480 BC.Battle of Plataeu: 479 BC.Battle of Gaugamela: 331 BC.Battle of Hydaspes: 326 BC.The Siege of Syracuse: 219 BC.This list goes on and on, spilling over to World War 2 in 1945 AD and beyond. The point is: humankind do not know any other way to resolve conflict other than using aggression and violence: a hallmark of primitive culture. Why plunder? why loot? why kill? Why wage wars?
The answer is simple. Our physical personality became dominant causing our metaphysical personality to diminish. Our process of thinking was driven more by our physical personality, which uses body as the main weapon to drive and fulfil the need of the time. This is primitive, very backward, and the sign of a very young race and civilization. Just as how a small child uses his/her body to fulfill needs, a young race weaponizes collective bodies to launch aggression and violence to fulfill a collective need. The similarity is astonishing observation.
Metaphysical personality on the other hand shuns violence and uses peaceful means to resolve conflicts. Making your metaphysical personality rise in equal stature to match our physical personality brings in the balance that is so vital for a human being to evolve and grow. Now what is this metaphysical personality? It is the way how we think, feel, and then act. Making our physical personality to look up and follow our metaphysical personality is the only way to tone down aggression, violence, end wars and conflicts and increase the chance of world peace and prosperity. Subduing our physical personality is a very important need of this hour. And it starts with you as an individual. Unless and until we change as a person, our world will not change. Ask yourself: how much of your daily life is driven by your physical personality only? This truth will set you free.
Because our thoughts drive us through life, it is very important to get our thinking process on the right track. Thought is the engine of all life. Everything we do, starts with a thought and ends with an action. Understanding the science of thinking becomes a very important task for all of us, in order to shape our resulting action. Remember our action impacts us and many others around us. Our metaphysical personality shapes our thinking. Who are you really now becomes a very important question? This determines and creates how we think. This is where the secret lies: this is where we are confused: this is where need the most clarity. If we believe that we are the children of our biological parents and mimicking their values and behavior and assigning our growth to them only then our thinking becomes very narrow and limited. This is just a biological process for any species to grow in numbers. You are much more than this and way beyond this narrow viewpoint.
No doubt, we owe allegiance to our parents and likewise they to their parents, it is simply a way of life. All life forms reproduce, and all young ones are cared for, nurtured to become full grown adults. All animals do that and so do we. This is just a biological process full of compassion and care. This is how life survives and grows to multiply in abundance all around. As humans grow and reproduce so does the animal family reproduces and grows and so does the plant and tree families reproduce and grow. Just a way of life, nothing extraordinary, yet marvelous and beautiful in the way all three life form families grow, evolve, and sustain on a planet. But when humans turn on their violence on the animal, plant, and tree families, this is when our world starts to turn ugly. Once again, a sign of our physical personality dominating our metaphysical personality. What have the animal, plant and tree families done or deserved to receive this extreme form of abuse, violence and death of their young ones and old ones? Nothing! Yet humans continue to inflict damage, death, and destruction to these innocent families. We don’t need to violently react to this fact, but we do need to change our thinking.
Let us discover who we really are and then all of this becomes easy to understand and so much easier to change. We are a physical being designed, using three components, and loaded with three systems. This design is our core. Understanding our core can help us increase our metaphysical personality, which in turn will regulate our physical personality. Our three components are Body, Mind, and Soul. Our three systems are Relativity, Forgetfulness and Consciousness. While body is the only physical component rest everything else are metaphysical components. Relativity is a system wherein you exist as a being in relationship to something else. Forgetfulness is a process of making us unaware of who we really are. Consciousness is a state of being when we become aware of who we really are working through the forgetful platform and understanding the relativity angle.
So, who are we really: We are a spirit, an energy, a highly advanced, super intelligent being materialized into a human body form? In this reduced state we lose all of our super abilities to merge with the body design that has a skeleton of bones into which organs, tissues, tendons, and muscles are inserted and finally covered by a bag of skin to keep everything hidden to remain in a protected place. The forgetfulness feature gives us an opportunity to discover our real self the powerfully advanced being that is still with us in a smaller size and otherwise known as our soul. The superintelligence is also repackaged as an energy processor also known as our mind. Now you know who you really are.
The purpose of our life is simply to walk on this planet as a human being discovering our three components and remembering our three systems and begin the process of living. As long as we stay centered on this core concept and building blocks, we have so much to do and so many miles to cover. Although we are children of our parents, we are something much bigger than just children of someone. We carry with us a very vast and ancient library embedded in our soul, super processing abilities available in our mind that we can use to make our lives and lives of others better, bigger, and more beautiful. Our human body is just a shell for us to achieve this very purpose of life as we live out this process of growing from a child to an adult and from developing our physical personality based on our metaphysical personality. Our brain only controls the functions of our organs and monitors the cells in our body. It has no ability beyond this. It does not generate thoughts another common fallacy created by humans. Our heart is a pumping machine to distribute blood to our organs, tissues, tendons, muscles, and cells. It does not generate love as commonly understood by humans.
Once we begin to accept our mind as the thought producing metaphysical component and our soul as the holder of all wisdom, feelings, and love as our second metaphysical component, we can begin the process of raising our consciousness to remember who we really are. This will change everything: our world we live in, our way of life and how we learn to coexist with our human neighbors, with our animal and tree neighbors and with the non-organic components of our planet, namely our atmosphere above us, our resources on land and our waterways all around us. This is how a planet survives and grows and how organic and non-organic elements on the planet coexist and evolves and sustains over a very long period. It all starts with you, and it starts with the understanding our two personalities, how to balance them and allow one to lead the other. This dance is the most important thing we can do to make our world a better place. And in doing this we become another way to be human.
This is A Higher Conversation and an important conversation to have.

Are We A Human Being Or Just A Human Doing Things?
We are a human being, but we have never done any being, we are busy doing. A state of being is a very different state from a state of doing. Being is a feeling and doing is an action. A feeling is experienced every time we do something. What those feelings are depends on what you are doing. Let’s go behind the scenes on feelings and doings. As a human being we are made up of three aspects that come at birth: our body, our mind, and our soul. Most of our lifetime is spent using our body neglecting our mind and soul. It’s there just not used.
Let’s connect our three aspects to the languages they use to communicate to us. The language of our soul is feelings, the language of our mind is thought, and the language of our body is action. Now thought is not generated in our brain and love does not come from our heart. Our brain and our heart are simply physical organs. They can ONLY regulate our body, and they are purely physical in its ability and function.
Mind and Soul are metaphysical, that which is not physical, beyond the 5 senses of a human. As a human being our life starts with a thought, this is the engine of life. From this thought we move forward. The thought is transformed by the brain into action by the body through neural links and so we do things that can help, hurt, or damage people and things. As a human we have that power. We are very creative this way. Every time we do something we experience one of many things: happy, sad, peaceful, violent, hatred, fear, love and so on. Our soul feels this experience.
So, who do you think is driving life you are: by your thought, you are in control. So when you think and say I hate this, I hate what he/she is doing or what they are doing, it rolls out the hate experience. Similarly, when you think and say I like and love peace, a peaceful experience rolls out. And so, what you think becomes your reality in the moment.
Your soul and your mind are energy units looking after a physical unit- your body. Can you see your mind, no you cannot? Try this, close your mouth, and keep speaking, you will notice you can without opening your mouth. This is your mind, working for you. Now stay very still and think of nothing, just become blank and in this stillness, you will see translucent vibrations all around your body through your eyes. That is your soul like a halo all around you. All of us can see it, if we stay still without any thoughts. When the mind is active, the soul is not visible.
You can talk to your soul and ask your questions and you will get your response back not as a voice but in feelings back or it will show you something by way of a book, an article, or a music or a movie to give your answer to the question you asked. It’s not that prominent as you read or see but you will feel it. Getting used to feelings like we are used to read or see is our next step in our personal evolution. And this is very important for our growth.
Now tie this up- think, speak, and do, thought word and deed, father son and the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit is your soul, father is your thought, son is your body. Put in another way: Feeling is the Holy spirit, Thought is the father, Action is the son. It is always the Trinity that is at play in our world. Our physical world and our universe works on the principle of three: Past, Present, Future, Here, There and In Between, Peace, Joy, Love, Sad, Happy Angry, See Hear Read, Body Mind Soul.
Everything happens with a thought; your word follows and then your action. At the end of this you experience a feeling. Our soul is waiting for you to experience feelings of peace, joy, and love. And every time we get further from these three pillars, we experience very different things. Our soul is made up of peace, joy and love energy units and nothing else. So, life is all about remembering this and doing things as close to peace, joy, and love. This is when your soul, mind and body begin to merge, and you become a true human being not a human doing things. The only purpose of life is to experience peace, joy and love in whatever you do. What you do is not important, what you feel when you do is far more important.
And this is Metaphysics 101 and Metaphysical 101 in its basic form. Thought, Word, and Deed creates a feeling and if this feeling is outside the border of peace, joy and love we do not get the best in life. These 3 are the pre- requisites to a good life on Earth. Everything else is a secondary task. When the feelings of peace, joy and love increases by your actions, your soul increases the energy you need to keep your body healthy and wise. In this state of being anything is possible. Become the being in whatever you are doing.
When one day we learn to have only three emotions of joy, peace, and love and loose all of the other emotions, we will move up in our evolutionary cycle. And that would be the day we say – we are liberated, we are free, and we have become who we really are. All other emotions other than joy, peace and love are artificial social constructions we have created to attach ourselves in this physical world and that’s how we relate to this world. It is logical to assume that to own something comes with the fear of loosing it. And the more we own things our fear grows. It is also not logical that we do not own things in this world we live in. The idea is to own things but delink the ownership thought. Once we use things we own as a custodian and on a custodial basis, the fear of loosing it goes away. This gives us freedom to enjoy the thing we own and the opportunity to share it with others. And this is precisely growing up. Fear turns into love and in turn brings joy and peace with it.

Through the valley of life, we arrive at a future state of being. But we need to pass through many things of life to become that. It’s not life and its many forms that is the problem, but our thinking that is the root cause of many our problems. We are so fascinated with the things of life that we get caught in it and forget our journey. Robert Frost in his poem Stopping by Woods on a Snowy evening wrote: “The woods are lovely, dark and deep, but I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep.”
This is life and we made a promise before we were born that despite the many miles we walk in life before we finally sleep, we will become who we are: A human being living in love joyfully and peacefully. And that is the promise we need to keep.
It’s time to stop attaching too much importance in doing things and make it super important to becoming a being and feel the love, the joy, and the peace our universe so abundantly shares with all of us.

Stoicism, Spiritual Technology And Leadership
What is technology? Wikipedia defines technology as the sum of techniques, skills, methods, and processes used in producing something, or the knowledge of techniques and skills. It simply means taking an input, changing it according to the system’s use and then producing an outcome.
What is Spirituality? Wikipedia defines it as a religious process of re-formation which “aims to recover the original shape of man” oriented at “the image of God. In modern times, the term refers to a wider range of experience to include personal growth, a quest for an encounter with one’s own “inner dimension”.
My narrative and description of Spiritual technology follows the two definitions very closely – By using our spiritual skills and processes to produce an outcome that can help us grow and evolve by encountering life with our inner aspects. From the time we are born, we are growing in physical size, learning, and acquiring knowledge and skills to create wealth in order to eat, live grow a family and live with others in a community. While this is an ongoing lifelong process, what are we doing to improve ourselves from our inside. This is where spiritual technology comes into the picture. It means taking our thought converting it into words and action in a very different way than we do now. We do things all the time, but it is the quality of our thought that is a problem. So how can spiritual technology help anyone. This is where I am going to start.
Spiritual technology is a philosophy I write about. This philosophy has the same underlying attributes as Stoicism. It just runs on a different platform, yes it follows the one basic understanding that Stoicism follows which is providing a framework for living well, live a good life and improve the virtues of your character, besides a host of many other good things.
The core difference between the two philosophies is Doing and Being. Stoicism is about doing great things in your life, doing things that will make you a better person and so on. What I write about is before you do these great things what state of mind are you in, as you do these things.
Being is very different state of mind from doing. As human beings we do a lot of things every day,
from the moment we wake up and to the moment we go back to sleep. Each of us do different things and that is allright, we have to do what we do. Now when you are doing these things are you happy, are you peaceful and are you loving? This is what being is all about. My writing is purely focused on this being part. In one-line spiritual technology is all about achieving a peaceful, joyful and loving state using the process of thought, word and deed.
Let us dig into what this means. If we assign the doing part to the body and the thinking part to our mind, the being part now belongs to our soul. Here comes the difficulty where nearly everyone doesn’t get it. Spiritual technology is all about making the body-mind-soul connection as step one.
For some strange reason all of us do not understand the term Soul very well. We as a human being are made up of one physical aspect – Our body and two metaphysical aspects mind and soul.
Because we do not or we are not able to see our mind and soul, we think they do not exist. They do.
Our mind is where all our memories and information are stored. No, it is not in our brain. Our brain is an organ, a physical organ not capable of storing. Our mind is a metaphysical energy.
Think of it like a storage unit what the IT people call the cloud. This mind of ours is an energy unit not in a physical sense as we understand. It is the bridge between the soul and the body. Our body executes what our mind thinks of and our soul experiences the aftereffects of our action. Our brain is responsible for our body to ensure all of our cells and organs are working well, this is all it can do. So, a disease is basically a change in your cellular structure, and this causes the organ to malfunction. You will not believe this when I say cells mimic our state of being. If we are angry the cells sense this and we lose a few cells, but when we are happy our cells grow and remain healthy.
This is why being peaceful, joyful and loving is a very important part of being healthy. Keep your cells in good shape and you will be in good shape. What we think, what we speak and what we do affects our cellular structure. Now you can understand how using spiritual technology can help us to remain in good health, besides a lot of other things.
This brings us to our next point in today’s discussion. Thought, Word, and Deed. Thought starts at our mind level, our body executes this through our mouth as words that you and I speak and then our body combines all parts of our body to do an action that is the result of your thought. Let’s take an example. On any given day we do a lot of things, let’s take eating for example. When we get hungry, our stomach rumbles and pains a bit allright, that is our body sign, but who is telling us that we are hungry- Our mind brings up this thought and transfers it via a signal to our brain which by the way is a a very powerful transformer. It converts the thought from the mind to body action by making you go towards a food source- a restaurant or to your kitchen shelf or the stove to cook and eat. Once you have eaten well, you smile and become happy. This happiness is a feeling that our soul is receiving. Our body is fed, our mind has fulfilled the hungry thought and the soul is happy about how you feel now – happy. Taking this analogy to all the other things we do; some are not as happy as this. When the balance of happy to not happy ratio changes in your life it also changes the cellular balance inside you. This imbalance brings on from a mild cold, a mild headache to more severe diseases and illnesses on a longer-term basis.
Thought is a powerful life driver; it is the engine of all life. Thought becomes word and then becomes action. Our Soul is also an energy unit like our mind but very powerful, made up of million, billion trillion energy units. It does not try to dominate or interfere with your body at all. It sends its wishes to our mind. Our mind then creates a thought and passes it on to our brain for action. What are our soul’s wishes? – To experience joy, to experience peace and experience love from all of encounters of life. This is the only purpose of life; this is why are born. To experience these three aspects in whatever we do, however we do and wherever we do. And when we align our thought, word, and deed on these three pillars in every moment of our life we will experience love, peace and joy and everything else in our life. Our life will improve – all the health you want,
all the wealth you like and everything else around you will brighten up. Living in life using spiritual technology all the worldly goods and worldly successes will come your way. We keep chasing goods and success without altering our state of mind while we pursue this. We fail at times, and we win at times. This is unconscious living without the use of spiritual technology.
I know this is a very hard thing to do. It is not easy to be peaceful, joyful, and loving every single moment of your life and in everything you do. Pls trust me you can. As long as you focus your thoughts on these 3 aspects then doing what stoicism asks you to do will become very easy because you are using the tools and skills, we are all born with: our body, our mind and our soul.
Working as a team, there is nothing you cannot do as long as you stay within the triangular boundaries of joy, peace and love. This is what I write about, this is what I talk about. This is spiritual technology.
Relationships is the key factor and the critical element for spiritual technology to be applied. Our relationship with people, places and objects- this is our perfect opportunity. We have no obligation in any relationship. We have only opportunity. Opportunity to showcase our true inner self. If we see this as the other way around, we would have missed the point completely. Obligation in any relationship is the virus that kills the relationship. Never do anything in a relationship out of a sense of obligation. Allow the opportunity in any relationship to show who you really are. If you did not know you are a being of love, living in peace, joyfully. There you go the three basic elements.
Life moves along with bumps and obstacles all around. There is a better way to navigate these bumps and roadblocks Relationship is the most critical component of our design as a human being.
And my book is centered on this core aspect. Relationships fail not because of the action of the other person, but in you failing to understand who you really are. Until you understand who you are, till then we will all bumble along this path, a bit of luck here, a bit of love there and a bit of joy somewhere. All of us ask why is my life not going smoothly? Now you know the answer, simply because you are quarantined outside the boundary of joy, peace, and love – nothing else.
And because our relationship is not going well, there are things we do when we react in pain and hurt when another in the relationship is being, doing and saying. We have been doing this as far as 2000 years back or beyond. Reaction is a reflux action that should tell you that you are not acting but reacting. When we react, we do so using stored memories in our mind making mistakes we have done before. But when we act from the core foundation of peace, joy and love our relationships will change and will never fail. How can you fail because a very powerful third element our soul is helping you along the way?
The language of the body is action, the language our mind is thought, and the language of our soul is Feeling. Happiness is a feeling, peaceful is a feeling, Love is a feeling. I write because I am passionate about finding another way to be human. The way we are human now, is not fair to so many other humans, to our environment, to the ground we walk on, to the air we breathe, to plants, trees and to animals. We seriously do not share everything with everyone on Earth. My book is about finding another way to be human. And the way to go is not the physical way, but a combination of physical and metaphysical ways. We are all part physical and part metaphysical.
Discover your metaphysical side and synch in. Meaning get to know your body, mind and your soul as your team and make it a part of your life. Trust me you will never need a doctor, or a therapist ever again- You will be in your best of health and in the best of wealth. Isn’t this so simple, yet so very hard to follow. Please try it and then follow everything what Stoicism says to follow- The result will be so huge – your feelings will be above and beyond – this is true enlightenment.
Everything else is not even close to this.
If we can use spiritual technology to improve our state of being, practicing Stoicism can do wonders to your life. Stoicism is about doing great things and spiritual technology is all about being and feeling great Spiritual technology can help you enhance your beingness, Stoicism can help you enhance your doingness. Put together this will elevate a human being to its next level –
Human 3.0.
If we as an individual can become this then a leader who is also an individual at the core can lead us in a very great way. A leader is never born, we are all born as individuals, leadership is something our society chooses for us. We cannot improve a leader if he or she has not grown as an individual.
Our world cannot become better till we as an individual understand the subtle differences between being and doing and how spiritual technology and stoicism can change you as a human being. From this altered state, a leader can do great things for his or her people by bring everyone in the society to become better individuals. Change must come from you, from your inside. Change must come in the way we think, way we speak, the way we feel. Then doing anything becomes easy, fun, and great. Our world is chasing wealth, everyone wants to become rich, while you do this how about we enjoy this process by being peaceful, joyful, and loving. Then the wealth we acquire becomes meaningful for us and for the family we have and for everyone you touch and everything you touch.
Robert Frost writes in his poem: “We dance round in a ring and suppose, But the Secret sits in the middle and knows”. This is the secret, all of humanity has been searching for since humankind was born. The secret sits right in the middle of us, and we have dancing on Earth for too long. It is time to make this secret a part of your daily life.
John Denver sings his song “country roads, take me home, to the place I belong.”. Yes, let’s all go home to the place we belong, to the place we came from. And this is possible only when you practice inclusion, accept diversity, and stop judging by making friends with your soul, uniting our body and mind with our soul. As they say charity starts from home, likewise inclusion,
diversity and non-judgmental starts from the inside of you. Make friends with your soul and unite your three aspects: Lets go home finally.

AFTER SO MANY YEARS WHERE ARE WE TODAY? DOING and the ART OF BEING.
Let’s begin this blog with a question and a story.
QUESTION
Over 3000 years our world has been overdosed with all kinds and all forms of religious knowledge, we never had a shortage of information – Then why is our world still so chaotic, so violent and totally dysfunctional in just three of many such words we can use to describe our world?
Not that any of the knowledge given was wrong. Or is it: because we really did not understand the context of this vast and rich knowledge. My suspicion is probably we did not understand it 3000 years ago and we still do not. If I have to use one line on this, I will say – we are far too dependent on DOING things. Doing can never help us simply because it involves our body in a solo performance.
STORY
This is an ancient story told in Hebrew about Daniel. A quaint story taught to children, it is at the surface, a story of a man who is saved from hungry lions by God – but it is more complicated than that. The CRITICAL spiritual lesson in this story is that Daniel – a man of great faith – is not saved from the lions by avoiding them – he is thrown right into the middle of them and then saved. And this is so often what we face in our own lives: being thrown right into the middle of our own lion den. Our lion dens are financial hardships; illness and injuries; relationship challenges and more. And as spiritual people, we chant, pray, meditate, affirm, and KNOW that we’re simply not going to be thrown in with those hungry lions, and yet so often we find ourselves free falling into the pit. Daniele was saved not because he did something, simply because he continues being who he was. Daniele could not have done anything when the lion’s den is closed by a stone on the King’s order and hungry lions circling him waiting for the kill. Most often we think that we can get out of our own lion dens by doing something to find out that it only makes it worse. This is because we do not understand that our lion dens were created by ourselves in the first place, and we are ill equipped to get out of it. We do not have all the data, nor the understanding. This is where my book begins.

Relativity and relationships are the ways we human beings relate to this world and to everything in this world. Let’s count how many relationships we have broken over time: Our relationship with our planet and its atmosphere is broken, the carbon footprint is growing in size and shape. Our relationship with our family, with our children, with our neighbors, with people we work with, with friends, with people all over the world and the biggest thing broken is the relationship with ourselves, unable to love ourselves, unable to live in joy and unable to live in peace. When was the last time you pampered yourself not your body but your thoughts of not wanting anything but to be happy with what is right in front of you?
We have made it extremely difficult to create, and sustain loving, peaceful and joyful relationships with people, places and things. This is where my book begins, this is where the story develops from all of these broken relationships. I say we are not broken, just a little bent. And this can be straightened very easily. Trust me on this. Its works all the time.
Let me show you the prime suspect in this broken crime. We are the criminal here, you, me, and everyone else. I say criminal in a good way, not meaning anything else, just highlighting and torch lighting a dark spot. Our relationship with our body, mind and soul is bent not broken, we can fix this quickly. Once we fix this, we can fix our world also very quickly. This will remove and vaporize the chaos, the violence the hatred, the anger, the rage, and so on. We were not able to do this in 3000 years, but we can do it now, only if we simply understand the chemistry and the alchemy between our body, mind, and soul. What – Is it that simple? This must sound like a fairy tale or is it too much of abstract talk. No, None of that. When we understand the simplicity of this one relationship, all other relationships will fall in place just like how you want it. What does one have to lose? Nothing, just an application of your free will.
Let me tell you, I informally studied comparative theology of all world religions. I had more questions, less answers. Pls believe me when I say this, that from teachings as old as 3000 years I did not find anything. But all of this rich knowledge had one common theme, one great connection, be it written in Hebrew, or Syriac or Arabic or Chinese or Aramaic or Persian or Sanskrit or English, it pointed humanity to a metaphysical source, a source outside of your body. And that local source is your Soul, of course the bigger source is God. Our soul is a local branch of the bigger source. The word Soul is found in many ancient books even as old as 3000 years. So, I paused to reflect and began my search for my soul. Here is what I gathered:
We are all constructed as a three aspect being – body – mind and soul. The body is physical, the mind and soul are metaphysical. Our physical body is assisted with two great tools – our mind and our soul. This a gift we get at birth.
Our brain is not the source of our thoughts, our mind is. Our brain is a physical organ, it cannot create metaphysical things. Thought is metaphysical and our mind creates it. Now where does our mind get its thoughts from? It starts with your body, like Netflix who uses an algorithm to show you movie or TV serials based on past viewing experience, your mind also has a neural algorithm to replicate what your body is doing or likes to do. It then stores this as memory and gets you to react the same way every time you come across a similar situation. There is also another way it can get its thoughts from: Our soul. This is where it goes wrong. When we create a thought that benefits our body or our ego the consequent action is far different, your experience is also very different. However when we use our soul to create from the platform of love, joy, and peace, the consequent action and experience is far more enriching. Our soul is an energy of pure love, joy, and peace.
Our soul holds our mind and body together gives it life, without our soul the body or the mind cannot survive, think of it like electricity to a machine.
When we create thoughts from our soul on the runway of love, peace, and joy, we get to fly, we get to create, and we remain abundantly healthy. And our overall life improves drastically. This is the power of Spiritual technology, way better than AI or machine-based technology.
Till we get comfortable with this connection we could remain dysfunctional, chaotic, violent at times, peaceful at times and so on. Only when we change from our inside can our world change from the outside.
My book is a conversation between a physical being and a metaphysical being. What my soul speaks is in italics in my book, this is how you will know who is speaking. The wisdom that my soul gives is beyond this world, call it divine dictation. And you can do it too. I did not write my book to show you how to have a conversation with your soul, rather how a conversation with your soul looks like so that you could have your own conversation with your soul.
Unless we filter our current thinking and our thoughts we cannot evolve further. Thought is the engine of life; it sets into motion what you will do. Let me take you to a famous line: I am…. What you put after these two words, you become. My book tells you this, read the ideas and concepts my soul speaks about and see if you can shape your thoughts maybe not exactly but somewhere close and see your life change forever.
Let me end by saying that you will gain nothing by reading my book hold on, let me tell you what you can lose by reading my book: All of your anxiety, all of your depression, all of your fear, all of your violence, all of your rage, all of your negative emotions to become an enlightened person loving all of life, living in peace, joyfully for all of your life, with all of life. Isn’t this worth fighting for? – Give it all you got? I say It’s worth fighting for- But You get to choose, you get to decide. No one but you. Because the change must come from you. By inspiration not by instruction. Not by doing but by thinking and doing. Bring your soul to the table where you sit with your body and mind. One is lonesome, two is boring, three is a party. Thank you.
All our life from birth we have been told that we are less magnificent, and we need to rise up. We are less of something and too much of something else- be seen not heard and so on. These are the messages you have received so far. We were told that love is conditional, and you have felt this condition many times in your life as you grew up and this is the experience you take into your own love relationships. From this experience you draw your own conclusions. I say we have forgotten to what it was like to be loved without condition. This is a fear-based love reality.
Try and become the being who you are and stop doing things that does not serve you, rather defines you as who you are not.
Staying peaceful like this gentle stream and flowing is very good for you.

Future Forward
Breaking News:
World renowned quantum scientists Dr Stuart Hameroff and Sir Roger Penrose say that they can prove the existence of the soul by their Quantum theory of Consciousness. They assert that our soul exists as a separate entity to our body. Dr Hameroff explained the theory at length in the Morgan Freeman- narrated documentary aired in the US by the Science channel.
What if we could trust ourselves to think that the original sin was a figment of imagination, beautifully crafted to sound like an advertisement to keep religion and the houses of religion in power long after the king’s rule ended. We have the power now, to break free from an overdose of religious indoctrination and see the original sin as humanity’s first blessing of being able to follow free will and choice. This was our first act of freedom, rephrased as original sin and we bought into it for nearly 2000 years. Adam and Eve as the first two humans exercised their first act of freedom in choosing to follow what came as a feeling to both of them naturally. To follow your inner feelings is a gift from our maker. Instead of celebrating it, this got chastised as original sin. Although the kings rule ended, a new rule by religious houses began. We need to break free.
I am writing this blog in response to this groundbreaking news and scientific discovery. My book and our universe has been saying this all along that we are a three aspect being of body, mind, and soul. And these three aspects work as three separate entities to make the human experience meaningful. This blog is a good after news feed.
I am what I am, a product of many experiences from birth to now and I remain grateful and thankful for this opportunity to shape my life. Just like how a potter shapes clay to create a beautiful ceramic object, I too had the opportunity to shape and create my experiences in life.
Respecting all that I became, assembling all of my collection of thoughts, memories, and experiences, I realized that I was, lacking in something. I still longed for more. The thirst to evolve personally took me to distant places within my mind. In this quest, I discovered my ancestry, not people but the energy that surrounds us all, the enchanting and magnificent soul. I instantly knew that in my limited and restricted state it would be difficult to expand my understanding. This is not something you can read. There is no human knowledge, on this subject. However ancient books, scriptures and teachings did show us a way, did give us a clue. Because these ancient teachings and writings were written in the language of the period, it was difficult to understand the concepts put forth and so largely the message went unseen and unheard. Pointing humanity to our soul began in 1 CE, a period before BC, and then went through 1500 BC, 551 BC, 400 BC, 30 AD, 120 AD and right up to the 19th century and as current as the 20th century. No one listened in the past and no one listens even now.

So left with no resources or a library to go to, I had to rely on my inside to find answers to find another way to be human. This is where my personal self- evolution began. I found out that I was a product of three aspects: My body, my mind, and my soul. I was constructed as one physical entity, with two other metaphysical entities. When this dawned on me, I began to embrace it. My life started a slow climb up a very steep mountain.
By including my soul, I learnt my very first lesson in being inclusive. To be tolerant followed. Soon forgiveness was replaced by understanding. I got off the platform of victim/villain scenarios. This is where I finally understood that we are not broken, just a little bent. And this can be straightened easily. All we have to do is set up this zoom call, invite your body, your mind and your soul to a silent audio only call and start a conversation.
As I got deeper into conversations with my soul, I was ready to scribe my conversations to create a book and share it. The purpose of my book was not to show you how to set up a conversation with your soul, rather, how a conversation with your soul can look like. A conversation with your soul can run deep and wide. There is no limit, no boundary, nothing is taboo. It is as free, and freedom is. Self-realization is the takeaway when this conversation starts.
My discovery was huge. Just like how an archeologist excavates human history, you are able to excavate your own construction. Once the realization that, we are made up of body, mind and soul gets fully integrated into your present understanding, life becomes very easy. As Joseph Campbell said, “We must be willing to let go of our life we planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us.” And this is what I did, I let go of my plans for life and I allowed life to show me that path. Now I wander freely and happily, without expectation, simply experiencing the joy that comes from all that I do.
On this path I found lots of interesting things. Did you know that our brain is a bio-transformer and a biological computer, that converts our thoughts into actions by making our body speak or do what we think? I didn’t know that before, I do now. Did you know that what you think is played out by your body as words and deeds? I did not know, I do now. So, what we think becomes a screen play script for our body to act it out. We are driven by our thoughts. What we think, we become.
Did you know that desire exists in our soul and in our body? I did not know that before, now I do. The desire in our body is managed by our mind. The mind helps in fulfilling all of our body desires. The mind does not help in fulfilling the desires of our soul, because the body and mind in union rejects the desires of our soul. This is the great struggle; humanity has been facing over millions of years. We tend to give priority to our body and neglect our soul. As a civilization what we are today is the net effect of applying this mind-body application.
Desire is the creator of intention, intention is the creator of thought, thought is the creator of action as in words and deeds and action is the creator of outcome. So, if you do not like the outcome, go back to your original desire and review it. Obviously if the outcome is not in your expectation and you are disappointed, then your desire was not the right thing to start with. Choose a desire from your soul’s menu and be surprised at the outcome, pretty sure it will delight you.
Did you know our soul constantly places its desire in your mind, but our body in union with our mind makes it go away? This is what is meant by being out of your mind. Working from the union of the body and mind is not in our best advantage, neither is it a balanced approach. In any triangle the center always lies in the middle of the triangle. In life too, our desire also lies in the middle of the three aspects of body, mind, and soul. So, a little bit of your soul’s desire and a little bit of your body’s desire is what makes us human. And this is a higher conversation to find another way to be human.

3 Hard Truths of Enlightenment
Estimated Read Time: 4 Min
Has “enlightenment” become a commodity nowadays? Yes, it has. It has become something that can be bought and sold through courses, 10-step checklists, and self-help gurus. Don’t fall for that. Unfortunately, that’s not how it works and not at all what I discuss in my book A Higher Conversation.
With three thousand years of spiritual wisdom from ancient teachings like the Hindu Upanishads 1000 BC, all the way up to contemporary spiritual writers like Alan Watts, Joseph Campbell, and Eckhart Tolle of the 20th century, why is humanity still desperately searching for a roadmap to “enlightenment?”
All the books, religions, and spiritual teachings should have transformed us as a whole by now, right? That is the problem with today’s paradigm of “enlightenment.” This is the dichotomy we face today, so much knowledge but extraordinarily little application of it. Look around and tell me if I am wrong.
Truth One: Spiritual Teachings Can Only Go So FarWith such a wealth of wisdom given over 3000 years, humanity should have been enlightened by now. Sadly, it feels like humanity is going the opposite direction. We are nearly on the brink of world war 3. A virus that ran through the world showed us how weak our human health truly is at a global scale.
We saw this in the Spanish Flu Pandemic in 1918 and history has once again repeated itself at a much higher level. Viruses like Ebola, Zika, and now COVID-19 have ravaged our most vulnerable populations. What has changed with all the wisdom we have been “given”?
Did we really even learn anything since the Spanish Flu? Let me explain a bit more.
Spiritual Knowledge only enriches the giver. Read that sentence again.
All these authors and writers have amassed wealth through their teachings. They appear as celebrities now on talk shows. They give paid classes. They get book deals to write more books and sell them based on their reputation rather than their inherent value to others. No one has benefited from what they have written except themselves. For everyone else it has remained an idea because they are unable to do anything they write about. Their mind does not allow them to.
What has humanity got in return? Nothing. Humanity loved these ideas the spiritual leaders were feeding us. But that is as far as we got. Ideas. We experienced the idea, but never the being of it. So, how do you turn ideas into actions?
Truth Two: Turn Ideas Into Actions
Our world cannot change unless we change individually. We cannot change individually unless we invite a third aspect to the table. Ideas cannot stay ideas for personal change to occur.
If we just focus on our body and a mind, we do not have the ability to transform the idea, the concept, or wisdom to become a reality without the active participation of our soul. Here is an analogy: What use is a laptop without a processor built in? Nothing can be processed. It is just a bright screen. Converting spiritual knowledge and wisdom to make yourself live an enlightened life requires engaging your soul. Your soul is like your laptop processor. It can process your good thoughts and desires to make your mind convert the thought into words and deeds. Our human brain is a great transformer only when our mind tells it to. Our mind can only act if and when our soul tells it to. Left alone our mind looks after our body.
The mind is solely designed to help you survive as a body. It is loyal to you and gives you what you want, need, and crave. In doing this, it builds up an ego center that promotes and exhibits your body & mental abilities. This is the path that most of humanity is on right now. It is what made us become who we are now and led to the negative outcomes we see all across the world today. Do we call this a relationship? Yes, it is a relationship alright but a broken one. Only our soul can make the mind change this. Our mind is too powerful to be changed by our body. We need a more powerful energy to influence our mind- our soul.
This is what made us become who we are now and made us do bad things on the ground we live in, on the water we drink, on the sky that protects us and to people who live with us. Humanity has not found a way to live in the wisdom imparted to them over 3000 years of teachings ONLY because they have not brought their soul into their lives. We will go on this way for many more years until Earth is destroyed as we know it. War, weapons, virus, or the climate will wreak havoc on us one way or another should we stay the course.
We are living on the brink of destruction. Our topsoil is getting uncultivatable with chemicals while our atmosphere is being polluted at a rate that is unimaginable. Our waters are getting poisoned and ice caps are melting. We hate each other and are ready to kill in the name of sovereignty, pride, and a deep need, close to addiction, to possess and own whatever we can. The ground we live on, the water that surrounds us, the sky that embraces us and the people who live here are at conflict with each other. We are succeeding slowly and perfecting the art of destroying everything around us. All because we have chosen to remain out of touch and not recognize and engage with our soul. People need to start having conversations with their souls to make a true change.
Truth Three: Your Conversation With Your Soul Is Unique
There is no guide, course, book, or teacher that can dictate how you should interact with your soul. It will not work, and it has not worked for 3000 years. Your soul is unique to you and the conversation you have with it will be unique too. Humanity at large can change in the blink of an eye, by simply accepting our basic construction of body, mind, and soul. We are a three aspect being. Hiding away from this fact is what makes the world be what it is now. By changing ourselves individually, we can change the world we live in by making it a better, happier place.
I wrote A Higher Conversation not to show you how to have a conversation with your soul, but to show you what that conversation can look like. It is my conversation with my soul. You do not have to spend thousands of dollars on courses, teachings, or books to reach enlightenment. You just need to engage with your soul and then link it and sync it with your mind and body to make it whole again.
Get A Higher Conversation here to see what that conversation with your soul can do for you. Then, start talking. I am sure you’ll have your own book to write after you begin. Good luck. More importantly, you will change your world, my world, and our world.
Make Earth Great Again. It was a great place- About thousands of years ago. We drifted away. My book will bring you back.

Consciousness of Oneness with the Universe.
We imagine Universe and God to have zero tolerance for religious insubordination. This is a monarchical image of God, taken up by the church in its earlier formation. When the rule of the king ended and the democratic rule of the people started, the church quickly took over the vacant position that was abdicated by the King. The King’s throne have walls immediately behind them and all who present themselves at court must prostrate themselves or kneel, because this is an awkward position from which to make a sudden attack. It has perhaps never occurred to Christians that the church was also designed on the model of a King’s court. The rituals in a chapel, the church and the basilica also follow what was followed in the King’s court. This may have been due to a lack of imagination and innovation by the church in that period of history. The authorities who ran the church during those times were primarily theologians, well versed in the understanding of Bible and nothing more. In doing so they implied that God was like a human monarch, afraid of human attacks. It may not have been meant that way, but it turned out that way.
Thus, society’s concept of religion and the concept of human beings who claim oneness with God became a conflict for many. The dilemma and the dichotomy of this artificial truth clashed. The kingly concept of God became an image that lasted for all off 12th century, right up to the 20th century. The truth is so far away from this understanding. Ask any biologist, or an ecologist or a physicist and they will tell you a different story of life and its evolution. The consciousness of any life form is connected with their environment. Thus, the words, I and self, really means the whole universe. The universe is telling us a different story and all religious institutions are telling us a different story. No wonder we remain confused about God and our universe.
This has created a metaphysical handicap and an intellectual handicap. We lack awareness of the basic unity between a living being and its environment. This has led to a serious and dangerous hallucination with religion and a distorted image of God. We are today equipped with immense technological power; this has led to alienation between us and nature. We use technology to fight and destroy nature like a child who possess a box of matches in a cardboard house. We wish to conquer nature instead of intelligently co-operating with nature. We are today eroding and destroying nature, the very house God gave us to live. Planet Earth is God’s gift to human beings, a house for us to live. Passion is a two-way street, one end of it is Conquest that leads to gory violence and the other end is glory that leads to peace. Humankind has always chosen violence over peace to live and sustain. Instead of angelizing our civilization, we have villainized our civilization.
This is the major threat overhanging us, be it western or eastern cultures. We still feel the need to survive and so our actions still remain barbaric, in a made over version from our cave days. We hunt in suits and ties with guns and advanced weaponry, no longer with clubs and stones. It is the act that defines us not the tools we use. We are industrialized on the outside but remain pre-historic on the inside. One of the greatest problems of any republic legally and politically, is that we have never quite had the courage of our convictions. The Republic is founded on the marvelously sane principle that a human community can exist and prosper only on a basis of mutual trust. Metaphysically, the industrial and the American revolution was a rejection of the dogma of Original Sin, which is the notion that because you cannot trust yourself or other people, there must be some Superior Authority to keep us all in order.
What if we could trust ourselves and the original sin was a figment of imagination, beautifully crafted to sound like an advertisement to keep religion and the houses of religion in power long after the king’s rule ended. We have the power to trust ourselves, in fact we are exceptionally reliable beings who have been told over years, we are not because in fear we will need a higher being to look up to. The marketing of religion began this way and has never stopped.
This made us go far away from the environment we live in; from the universe we know from the true self we really are. We have been always one with God and the universe. We have strayed away and led away by the Pied Piper of Hamlin and like children we followed all these years to wander into distant lands and distant ways. It is time to come home, it is time to awaken to who you are and from where you came from. The truth will set you free. This is A Higher Conversation.
Artificial Social Constructions
Climate
Many of us do believe that our world is collapsing slowly due to climate changes. And there are some who believe that we are just going through a phase, like the past. Remember when Earth began to evolve, we had three atmospheric make overs. The last one was the one we have now, downgraded. The weather today is not anything like when Earth started. Over billions of years, we as humans have interfered with the weather cycles to make it harder and harsher. We no longer relate, no longer care, and no longer love our atmosphere gifted to us. We want God to take care of this. The land, the sky and the people living in the land are one family, one community, just like our family. Destroying our land, polluting our sky, and harming the people who live on Earth is the same as harming our immediate family. If we choose not to harm our immediate family, why harm our extended family? Because we are separated, we separate ourselves from the land we live in, from the sky that protects us and from the people with whom we share the land and sky. Our belief that somehow climate will work itself out is again primitive. We have gone singular; we should have gone plural. Our climate will not get better, till we get better.
Language
We have so many languages spoken all over Earth. Each language brings its own peculiar accents and intonations. English in UK is spoken very differently in Australia. English in Australia is so different from how Americans speak in US. Canadian English is a mix of US and UK accents, rolled into a hybrid form. Does this make one part of the world better than the other? Is accent, dialect and tone such valuable titles to own? I wonder what accent, dialect and tone is connected to love, joy, and peace? I get it, they are not spoken, only felt, so, the absence of an accent, really does not matter. Interesting to note that only words need titles, not feelings, only humans speak words. Hm! And in our world today word is spoken more, and feelings are felt less. Time to change folks, feel more, speak less.
[image error]World of Birds
We hunt, gun, and kill birds and we have been doing this for many centuries. Again, taking a life has no meaning when we cannot create one. It could be argued that if we are able to gun down a human life, it becomes quite easy to gun down a bird. Somehow, we seem to be extremely comfortable with a gun when it is meant for another life, not our own. Birds, like animals and like humans share the land we live in. They depend on humans to protect them, give them a safe environment to live in. Instead of doing this, we murder them denying them any chance to live a full life. Where is the Birds Me Too Movement, where is Bird Lives Matter? For all the birds gunned down every day this is me mourning for all life to be preserved as we preserve ours. We are family, everyone has a desire to live a full life. Inclusion is not meant for humans only, it includes the land we live in, the sky above us, the bird and animals. This is true inclusion in its real meaning.
Other Wildlife
What we do with birds, we do it with cattle, sheep, and pigs. Today we have approximately three chickens to every human and 0.5 cattle, pigs, and sheep to every human. These animals are becoming more and more extinct due to consumption far exceeding breeding. To add to this, we are eating other exotic animals, allowing unknown viruses to jump from animal to human. COVID19 is a perfect example of this jump. We gun down birds, butcher cattle, sheep, pigs, chickens, and other exotic animals, invite pathogens and animal fat to enter our bodies and we say we are an advanced race. Primitive with a capital P. Wake up Guys and Girls, we do not have much time.
[image error]Killing
I wonder what right a man has, to shoot, knife or kill another. To take a life is never a high ground. Who amongst us has not done misdemeanors? Who amongst us has not robbed or stolen something that never belonged to us? We are misinformed, often misguided and not well intentioned. Does this mean we need to die? Does this mean we need to be killed? Does this mean we need to be punished? Laws in the human world are meant to keep everyone safe. A violation is not a signal to end life. Re-training and re-tooling are more appropriate measures. If we all simply practice one simple understanding, we will not need any laws at all. End all separation, think we are all one. What is in your best interest is also the same for the other. So, if you will not steal, kill, and harm yourself, why do it to another. No other law is needed for us to live in this world. We are born of divine will, let no one else take this away while we live. To give everyone multiple chances to redeem, repair and remake is compassion at the highest order.Sending people to prison and capital punishment is still not far away from beheading, just a change of tactics. The concept to punish anyone is primitive. Enlightened communities do not do this.
Fashion
Our world tends to prefer complicated ways to drape our bodies in fabric that at times looks like a cross-over between ancient robes and nudity. We explore themes of cross-dressing and tend to be bi-curious. In winter, tradition dictates that our pets wear jackets. Where are we going with this? Are we so bored that we need to add material to our bodies to make it interesting? Because we have no time to look after our land, our sky, people, birds and animals, we have become obsessed with our bodies. To eat, to dress, to drink and be merry is our mantra today. So, fashion has become an obsession. Obsession takes us away from Inclusion, because it is singular in nature.
[image error]Spirituality
Religion and Spirituality are two different things. Religion, marriage, and government institutions the way we have constructed them is what we are talking about. We have revoked God’s name, waved religious flags, and carried crosses on battlefields for centuries. Now that is religious extremism. Spirituality will tell you God’s love is unconditional and unlimited. This all-inclusiveness destroys every one of our religions, the institution of marriage and governmental institutions as well. Spirituality will lift this mask off your face and give you clarity. So, forget about religion, embrace spirituality. At some point all religions will fail because it promotes a fearful God – just like fake news. Conventional religion like communism is being brutally thrust on all of us. And this like communism will fail too. Everything you want to know is inside of you, look in, not look out.
I Am From Somewhere
WHERE AM I FROM?
I am not from where my friend Jack is. He is from New Jersey. I am not from where my other friend, Jan is. He is from Europe. Where I am from? From a lot of places. If we are talking about childhood it was a different place, another continent, if we are talking about teenage and University, it was a different place, also another continent, if we are talking about working, raising our children and living in my middle age, again it was a different place also, another continent. So, you see, I have lived in many continents, so how can I say, where I am from? I now live and write in a different continent, here we go again. So, there is no one single area, where I am from. For people who live in one area, this distinction might not be important, because I am not from there. Now what about before birth. That’s a different conversation. A Higher Conversation, I would say, wouldn’t you? People everywhere like people who live in one area are easier to connect. We joke about accents in US & Canada but they are a more heated topic than we will admit. When we discuss them, we discover that we are essentially still the same people, we were two centuries ago, locked proudly into the culture and tradition of our birth area, seldom leaving it. So, we are all from someplace but not the exact place we now live in……. The world we now live in, is slowly moving out of a locked in frame of past culture and past traditions and forming a new way. Another way to live.
[image error]EARLY IDEAS OF A BAND
I was wrong about Aerosmith when I was 17 and briefly thought they were the most terrible band ever, but I was much more wrong about them in my mid to late 20s when I joined in with friends who claimed that many others were better, Like Bon Jovi and U2, Aerosmith went on to become the best-selling American hard rock band of all time with more than 150 million records worldwide, inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and were included among Rolling Stone’s 100 greatest artists of all time. The band’s principal songwriters Tyler and Perry were inducted into the songwriters Hall of Fame and the band received a star on the Hollywood walk of fame in 2019. Aerosmith had lots of hit songs like “What It Takes” and “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing”. They have at least ten brilliant songs* and I thought they were terrible, when you realize the brilliance of Simon & Garfunkel’s Bridge over Troubled Water or Pink Floyd’s The Wall or Led Zeppelin. I’m not even sure I do any longer want to separate. If you judge and ban people from being who they are and what they want to be, we become another person and what we become is not our reality, just an illusion. I no longer create any judgements – I simply say this is different, let it pass and move on…….
[image error]BOOKS
I know many people who may never read my book, the gap between people who think my book is not relevant and people who think is relevant could be large. I walk along the edge of this huge gap every time I go online. I enjoy the creative process more: the feedback I am getting from beta readers has more layers, is a more fulfilling connection, more moving. The feedback I can get from some of the universe is more and more confusing. But I think a lot of us are experiencing the same process, to a greater or lesser extent. It’s a symptom of the Internet in general, not just for creative people, but for people full stop. Social media’s very nature, the very way it encourages a reaction, its ability for commerce and money and the way it fuels negativity, tends to tell us what we do not know. I for one, consider myself as non-judgemental and non-contradictory. There is always somebody out there who without knowing who you really are is willing to label you, classify you. Doing more of what you do and being more of who you are does not change that, because it does not change the fact that a few select people take pride in being judgemental. It happens because we have given internet the judge, jury, and execution powers. if you work in a creative field, be thankful to some people who read your book out of free will. For this I remain eternally grateful.
[image error]SUNDAY MORNING.
A brief break in what has felt like six or seven years of rain. The city is still buzzing, despite the rain. A walk to the University Of Toronto: a place where a brave future that has always happened still looks so architecturally thrilling you start to believe in it all over again. A place where concrete is a solid, redoubtable promise, where you just want to get inside the concrete and lose yourself in learning forever and forget the rest. Hungover students milling about in kitchens, striving to locate cheddar, coffee and paracetamol. During rain, water cascades efficiently down the gutter or what we call in Canada eavestrough. This happens in every home, creating a mini waterfall. The word gutter derives from Latin gutta meaning a droplet. Some of them poke out of the homes like strange objects. I, never properly noticed the gutter pipes “I never realised it at the time, but it really hits home a lot more, now that I’m living in a house with very ordinary and unimaginative gutters, that during my student times were really amazing. All of this will not matter in year 2045, a time period, where my new Sci-Fi book begins. At that time, a home is a wonderful new concept beyond imagination and rainwater gutter will certainly not exist – what could exist is only an energy field. I sometimes am amazed at my own imagination, conjuring up life in 2045.
PADDLE- THE CAT
I remember, when my friend Jack and his wife collected their cat Paddle, who was then just a kitten, from her original home. I also remember Jack’s wife Jane whispering to my wife – look at the mother cat, hope the baby cat does not grow up to become like that fat mother cat. I sometimes find myself thinking about that now, when Paddle walks into my house, looking like her mother. I do not know where Paddle’s mum is now. Jack’s wife and my wife keep telling Jack and me – Honey, we told you so. Paddle does not even bother to ask or purr.
MEMORY
Memory is a function of our mind, its ability to store information, relevant and recall it when needed. One day, I fear, I will misplace my smart phone, my keys and my wallet and not remember to text any friends back at all, but recall what happened in 1970, Beatles and Luther King’s powerful speech “ I have a Dream”, We tend to remember what we want to not what we need to. We are beings that are obsessed with material success, instant gratification and extremely high ego and so short-term memory is not our friend because everything good happened in our long-term memory. It’s almost like we lost our soul and believed in our body only. Like a broken conversation, like a broken relationship.
OLD AND IT HURTS.
As one gets older, your body hurts a bit more, but you are more used to it hurting. This is true. What people do not tell you about as often is the limitations that old age places on mobility. People have children to look after, mortgages and stupidly high rents to pay and health problems to manage; they’re tired from working too hard, they are starting to wonder if it was the right decision after all to adopt pets. I have loads of friends, I can arrange to meet for a coffee or a beer or a film or a walk, in a fortnight’s time but nobody who is ready to talk about the year 2045 and wonderful new ways to live, which is a situation I constantly think about, but also implicitly understand. Our filter is still very thick and new ways to live is hard to pass through this thick filter. But one day it will. Our filter will get thinner in time, I am convinced that it will. Then everyone will huddle up and talk. Till then …..
