A Christmas Mystery
"Murder for a song is a great murder mystery with romance, paranormal and music sprinkled all over the pages.
Esther, Ashton, Rochelle, and Jayden all work together and get along. Esther’s happy place is singing with music, making her happy.
When a co-worker goes missing and is found dead several days later, everyone is shocked.
Esther takes it one step further and investigates the death, not realizing her life may now also be in danger.
What she discovers over the course of her investigation is nothing she had ever imagined.
The story is well written, and I enjoyed my time spent with Esther in her hometown with her friends and with Christmas approaching."

Murder for a Song
Hi! I've just sent out ARC copies of my new paranormal cosy mystery, Murder for a Song. It has musical magic, found family, freaky familiars and mysterious family secrets.
When murder comes to Ledstow, Esther must play her way to the truth.
Esther lives a good distance from her nosy parents, talks to anyone who will listen about musicals, and jams on her ukulele. But when murder comes to her workplace, everyone is a suspect.
When her best friend is taken in for questioning, it's up to Esther to prove his innocence. With her ukulele that has a will of its own and an uncanny gift to get people talking, she takes over where the police have failed.
But the mystery becomes extra knotty, when she discovers something more magical than just caffeine flows in her veins. Can Esther clear her friend’s name, uncover the witchy family secrets and figure out why the police detective seems to be following her, all by Christmas?
Murder for a Song is the first book in the delightful Musical Mayhem series. If you like witty female sleuths, ghost-hunting, freaky familiars and sweet slow-burn romance, you will love these magical cozy mysteries.
Murder for a Song is coming on 5th October!

What is Contemporary Witchy Fiction?
We were advised to stay at home, but our minds were free to roam. During the full lockdown in New Zealand, an online group of writers decided to write about witches. These would be light, fun stories, where magic is woven seamlessly into our world.
Follow the lives of witches around the country, from the heart of Wellington City to the foot of snow-capped Mount Taranaki, from Dunedin’s historic streets to the coastal settlement of Akaroa. Our witches discover who they are, protect the local rivers and untangle mysteries. Accompanied by familiars with claws and feathers and fins, they discover new powers, concoct new ways to support their families and find themselves on the path to love.
If you like quirky lives, all things witchy, and stories where the end is not nigh and love can prevail, then these stories are for you.
We hope you enjoy meeting our witches!
