Greg Buchanan is a BAFTA-longlisted writer for interactive and screen. His acclaimed debut novel SIXTEEN HORSES was selected for BBC Two's Between The Covers and was a Waterstones Thriller of the Month. A TV adaptation produced by Gaumont Television is on the way. His second novel CONSUMED is out summer 2023.

Greg studied English at the University of Cambridge and completed a PhD at King’s College London in identification and ethics. He is a graduate of UEA’s Creative Writing MA.

If I'm not naturally feeling inspired (whether from my own life, imagination, or stories told to me by others), then I have a useful shortcut. I watch films (even just scenes) and listen to pieces of music that have strong atmosphere to them. If they can help me feel the emotions I need to feel in the moment, I immediately switch to writing and try and capture my own version of those feelings on the page. P.S: Noise cancelling headphones are helpful for blocking out distractions!(less)

Hi everyone!

Consumed by Greg Buchanan

A couple of years on from my debut Sixteen Horses, my new novel Consumed is now available for preorder and Netgalley requests! It stands alone as a dark crime mystery story, though plenty of easter eggs and a returning character for those who enjoyed 16H!
