Following a career in international marketing I took a PhD becoming an oral historian who enjoys travelling to and from the UK and North America to explore the hitherto hidden history of the great English Diaspora.

Back home I love my family and enjoy my Great Dane, Tilley. As a volunteer I use my oral history experience to run a reminiscence therapy group for Alzheimer Scotland.
