Maury Kelly Downs was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He enjoys all things aviation. He has experience working as a Certified Flight Instructor and he greatly enjoyed teaching people how to fly. He is an Airline Transport Pilot and thrilled to fly the "Queen of the skies" Boeing 747. He has worked to promote and enhance aviation training and safety standards in the airline industry. He has also had a rewarding previous career working as a health care provider. His responsibilities working as a Registered Respiratory Therapist included the management and treatment of respiratory diseases in patients of various ages.
