If you love the Killian Blade Series and want to read a spin-off standalone, check out Wicked Savior launching June 3rd. It is MF story about Lucifer's quest for revenge and Evren, the woman he must protect along the way. Please note: You do NOT have to read this book to continue with the series. It's a side story. Also, it contains references to angels, demons, and overall Christianity so if this isn't your thing, feel free to skip it. I'll post any spoilers on FB prior to Meri's book which is coming next. It's such a love / hate relationship with cliffhangers. For the Killian Blade Series, I used 'hooks' more than cliffhangers. For Savage Traitor, I ended with a cliffhanger. Why? Honestly, the beta team pointed me in the direction and I'm so glad they did!

My last chapter was BORING! After such a fast-paced book the last chapter kind of let all the air out of the tires. For a thriller, it needed to be on pace and as exciting as the rest of the book. Hence, I agreed. The cliffhanger was the best way to go.

So, sometimes, authors use cliffhangers for the best story, not to torture anyone. ;-) Something to think about.
