Lavinia Fonzi is an Italian author of historical fiction who lives between Italy and England, though her imagination takes her to many different places.

She has a deep passion for the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries—periods of great ideals and change—which she loves to bring back to life in her novels.

Her books, set between the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, blend romance with elements of mystery and adventure, weaving together storytelling and historical reconstruction.
