VARIANT Signed Dust Cover (Limited run of 50)

Because Amazon doesn’t have dust covers for the hardcover books, we made a limited run of Variant dust covers. They will be signed and numbered. Either purchase a hardcover book to get one, or you can buy one on its own if you already have a naked hardcover that needs it. Keep in mind, shipping is better for books than a dust cover on its own.

All hardcovers will be sold with these dust covers until they run out, so get yours now by clicking here.

To purchase the dust cover without the book, click here.

For immediate release:

Readers’ Favorite recognizes “2HVØRHVNØT” by Jared K Chapman in its annual international book award contest, currently available at http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1953366007.

The Readers’ Favorite International Book Award Contest featured thousands of contestants from over a dozen countries, ranging from new independent authors to NYT best-sellers and celebrities.

Readers’ Favorite is one of the largest book review and award contest sites on the Internet. They have earned the respect of renowned publishers like Random House, Simon & Schuster, and Harper Collins, and have received the “Best Websites for Authors” and “Honoring Excellence” awards from the Association of Independent Authors. Because of these large submission numbers, we are able to break down our contest into 140+ genres, and each genre is judged separately, ensuring that books only compete against books of their same genre for a fairer and more accurate competition. We receive submissions from independent authors, small publishers, and publishing giants such as Random House, HarperCollins and Simon & Schuster, with contestants that range from the first-time, self-published author to New York Times bestsellers like J.A. Jance, James Rollins, and #1 best-selling author Daniel Silva, as well as celebrity authors like Jim Carrey (Bruce Almighty), Henry Winkler (Happy Days), and Eriq La Salle (E.R., Coming to America).

“When the right books are picked as winners we pay attention. We will be spreading the word about Readers’ Favorite.” –Karen A., Editor for Penguin Random House

The Wanderer Rough Draft

I started NaNoWriMo for the first time ever, and I've now completed the rough draft for book 2 of the prequel trilogy: Foundations of Fellowship City. I began writing book 3, the Wise, just after midnight this morning. I'm really excited to get this trilogy completed. As soon as I finish the rough draft for book 3, I'll begin the edits for book 1 and get these out to you in the new year.

I'm still outlining the sequel to 2HVØRHVNØT and expect to begin writing it in late winter/early spring, shooting for a fall release in 2021.

I can't wait for people to read these!

BOOK TOUR & GIVEAWAY Begins Today!!!

2HVØRHVNØT: To Have or Have Not
by Jared K. Chapman
Genre: Dystopian Superhero Fantasy, Horror

Welcome to Fellowship City, where the Haves are super-powered, and the Have-Nots are just like you.

The Mighty have all the wealth, fame, power, and superpowers, but even they are subject to the monastery’s control. To maintain peace, telepathic monks see into the past, present, and future to police the other Mighty and the minority of powerless Citizens, who have nothing but their identity tags tattooed on their wrists.

Twenty-year-old Mario lives with his kid sister in one of the many camphouses on the island south of the city. Unlike the other citizens he stands in line with every morning waiting to be bussed to work, he actually likes his downtown job and the Mighty restaurateur who employs him.

At least, he did.

This morning, the grisly, undetected murder of his boss changes everything. In a flash, Mario becomes the primary suspect and must race against time to prove his innocence in a world that oppresses the powerless.

Part READY PLAYER ONE. Part DIVERGENT. Part MINORITY REPORT. Totally Superpowered! 2HVØRHVNØT has fast-paced action, suspense, horror, and mature themes that are sure to keep readers on the edge of their seats.

NaNoWriMo

I've never participated before, but I've decided to go all-in this year. I'm currently writing a prequel trilogy to 2HVØRHVNØT called Foundations of Fellowship City, and I thought this would give me the oomph I needed to complete the writing. I've already written the first draft for the first book, The Warrior.
A few hundred years after WWIII and a few hundred years before the events of 2HVØRHVNØT, we find a tribe of women warriors in a Mad Max-like wasteland fighting to protect their most valued scarce resource, the few men in their tribe Two young warriors discover a lost secret and change their world forever. The second book, The Wanderer, takes place 15 years after the events of the first book, and the final book, The Wise, takes place 15 years after the events of the second book.
I hope you are as excited as I am to have these books completed. If you'd like to read the first draft of the first chapter, click on 8 here
That's the old webnetmightybase.com by the way. I'm still working on the new one.
