Excited to launch
Bronze Seeks Silver: Lessons from a Creative Career in Marketing, a book tracing a nearly 30-year career in marketing.
Half-memoir, half-guidebook, it offers up stories and lessons about selling brands, building client relationships, and managing careers.
Since I first started to write my resume backwards and capture teachings from each step, it's nearly a decade in the making.
I'm sure other writers start to build an angst over omission: What did I leave out, should I have included that other story?
This was starting to keep me up at night and sending me back to the manuscript to fiddle. At some point, though, I had to "lock" on the book and say it was done.
To let myself off the hook, I'm thinking of doing a series of posts of what was left out.
