Victoria Barr spent most of her childhood with her nose in a book and her imagination exploring other fantastical worlds. As an adult, she spends a lot of her time writing even more stories that she herself would love to read.

One of her biggest sources of inspiration is her pet sugar gliders. She adopted her first pair, two boys, in early 2013. They have traveled with her, gone on vacations with her, and have even gone to school with her! She adopted her second pair, two more boys, at the start of 2020. Having four gliders running around gave her plenty of inspiration and courage to both create and publish her debut children's chapter book series, Glider Tales! ...more
