Laura Detering is the Indie B.R.A.G medallion honoree Author of the The Witch in the Envelope trilogy. She used to spend her days teaching social sciences and dance to high schoolers. She also used to scan patients’ hearts and vascular systems as an echocardiographer. Now she writes full time. Laura lives in what she considers a little paradise in northeast Florida. She’s married to her college sweetheart and is a mom to two amazing girls. When she is not managing her chronic illnesses, she loves to go on walks, attend book club, lead worship, crochet, craft, listen to audiobooks, help others write, do jigsaw puzzles, and play board and card games.
