I’m DeeDee Lake—an author, speaker, author business coach, and the Connection Expert. I love stories that bring people together through faith, friendship, romance, and a healthy helping of humor.

As a Navy brat and longtime Army wife, I’ve called 51 houses home, including nine years in Spain. Those adventures help inspire the sweet, inspirational military romances I co-write with Susan M. Baganz in our Rules of Engagement series.

My books also explore faith and the everyday moments God uses to teach us. Whether I’m writing fiction or nonfiction, my heart is to encourage readers and help them build extraordinary relationships—one conversation at a time.
