Why Eating Bread Can Cause Digestive Problems?

Does seem like a familiar situation to yourself or a member of your family, an experience bloating after eating bread? Avoiding wheat-based foods

Incidence of wheat sensitivity is becoming increasingly common, especially as bread has now become a staple part of many of our diets.

Make sure to monitor the after-effects of any food containing wheat. Importantly make sure not overload your system. If you have a wheat sensitivity you have instead of than an allergy. Then you may be able to continue to eat wheat products in moderation. Remember to avoid overloading your digestive system with wheat foods. This will help prevent any discomforting symptoms to return.

It is important to note other foods apart from bread that can contain wheat. These include cereals, doughnuts, beer, soy sauce, biscuits, pastries and cakes to name a few. What Multi-Tasking Can Do To Your Mental Health

Can multi-tasking affect your health? On the face of It, multi-tasking may seem like an efficient way to increase productivity and save you time and energy.  

However, recent ongoing research has confirmed that multi-tasking can have negative effects.  The impact is a reduction of levels in productivity and overall in some cases brain health. 

Only If Different Stimuli Are Used, Is Multi-tasking Is Safe?

A consensus of experts agree that multi-tasking is safer, if the tasks do not involve using the same stimuli. One example would be reading a message from a laptop while listening to music at the same time. Our brain physiologically are not designed to deal with the same stimulus challenge, at the exact same time.

A striking example of a stimulus challenge would be driving a vehicle and texting on a phone at the same time. This is considered extremely dangerous to yourself and others. In this example you are using the same visual stimulus. They are both competing for the same limited focus. Although carrying out both activities at the same time, makes it appears you are multi-tasking. It is important to understand you can only be actively engaged with one or the other.

So instead of multi-tasking by doing two things at once, you are actually rapidly switching from one to the other, and back again. A frightening thought, If your attention is attracted to the phone for a second too long, the task of you consciously controlling the vehicle stops, and disaster can follow.

Another good example is when you are trying to listen to multiple conversations around you. It is impossible to listen to two people who are talking to you at the same time, because your auditory senses become overwhelmed.

Multi-tasking Can Also Harm Your Memory Ability

Multi-tasking can big a huge drain on mental energy. Each task that your mind  engages in will drain a part of your mental energy. As your mental energy drains, you become more forgetful. This is caused by your mind starting drift and will find concentration becoming more difficult.

Even if you are able to complete the two tasks successfully. The high likelihood is you probably won’t be able to recall how you completed the tasks. This is because our brain don’t have the ability to fully focus on two or more tasks at the same time.

This means each time you multi-task, your mind becomes a juggling act.  All you are achieving is a dilution of your mind’s investment towards each task. 

                             Multi-taskers Think They Perform Better

A study headed by Zheng Wang, who is based at Ohio State University reveals that people who were text messaging whilst being asked to focus on the images displayed on a computer monitor, had decreased levels of performance.

What makes this finding even more worrying is that those subjects who were asked to multi-task using the same visual stimulus. Remember the driving and texting on a mobile phone example. They believed they performed better, despite the results showed the opposite.

This downward trend in their performance continued. Their ability to focus on images displayed on their computer screen plummeted by up to 50%. Even though they thought they were performing perfectly. The same study participants were also asked to multi-task using different stimuli. This included combinations such as visual and auditory. This combination was found to have reduced levels of performance as much as 30%.

Professor Wang stated that performance level perception when multi-tasking is not the same. He had the results prove his claims. Researchers have also found that media focused multi-tasking increases your risks of developing impaired cognitive control.

Some of the most current research is confirming that multi-tasking means “performing multiple tasks sub-optimally”. This leads to a downward spiral

with productivity losses. Add to this a compounding, accumulating burden placed on the mental and emotional faculties. Unsurprisingly, this results in accumulating levels of stress. Without these factors at play, is already a very real problem for many of us to some degree.

Although developments in technology today makes it difficult for us to avoid multi-tasking altogether. The key take home point is to make yourself more aware of when it is happening.  Then attempting to remove the overload on your mind as much as you possibly can.

Making Law Of Attraction Work To Attract Abundance

There has been a lot of talk about the Law of Attraction over the last decade. Some people claim that it is made up New Age hokum; while others claim that it’s the key to achieving everything that you want from life. Can this “Law of Attraction” really help you to attract abundance into your life? We’ll focus on this question, and see if attraction of abundance can really be achieved.

The viewpoint that we have as publishers of this article is that law of attraction exists, and can be an aid or a barrier to bringing abundance into your life.

The first thing you need to know is that you are always attracting something. If things aren’t going the way you want. So, if your health is suffering, or you’re poor, then it’s because you have brought those things into your life. That might sound harsh or mean, but it isn’t meant to be. Instead, consider it a wake-up call to spur you into action.

At this very moment you may be thinking that you really want to attract abundance. That you want to avoid being unhealthy, or poor, or have negative things in your life. If so, then you have already identified part of the problem. One of the main rules of attraction is that you will get what you focus on. The mistake is to focus on what you don’t want. Therefore, by focusing on not wanting poor health, for example, you are actually bringing poor health into your life.

The way to get started and to attract abundance is to focus on what you want, as opposed to what you don’t want. This isn’t always easy to do, and a lot of your thoughts will be at the subconscious level, but the key is be constantly be aware of what your true focus is. The more you can focus on the things you truly want, the sooner you will have them.

There is one major problem to all of this though. Focus in and of itself isn’t quite enough. You also have to firmly believe that you can attract abundance. The problem is that if you are lacking things, then it’s hard to believe you can have them as there is no physical evidence. The good news is that you can get around this issue.

What you need to do is create evidence of abundance before you actually have that abundance. You can start retraining your brain to see evidence in two main ways. Watch, read and absorb the success stories of those people who already have the things you want. This will program your mind to see that these things are truly possible. The other thing you can do is surround yourself with pictures of those same things. By doing that you will get visual reminders that these things exist, and are there for you as well.

Another important thing to do to attract abundance is to build on your successes. Think of each achievement as a sign that you are getting what you want, and then you will quickly find that you can get more. Then when you get more, build on it. Before you know it, you will be met with a flood of abundance as your thoughts come to their inevitable and positive conclusion.

Remember, If you want something all you have to do is ask for it. It would be like a dream come true. Good things really can be yours just from asking for them.

Knowing how to ask is the key. As well as knowing what to ask for. You can ask for anything you want. But asking for a new car when you really want a Ferrari, doesn’t mean you’ll be satisfied with just “a new car”. And just saying “I want a Ferrari” and then going on about your life as usual probably won’t get it for you.

You need to focus your thoughts on getting that new Ferrari, picturing yourself driving it, truly believing you deserve it, and allowing it to come to you is the way to get it.

The act of asking is only the first step in the Law of Attraction. Feeling and acting as if you’ve received it is the second, knowing you deserve it and allowing it to come to you is the third.

Having doubts about how worthy you are produces negative energy. Negative energy produces negative results. If you don’t think you deserve a new Ferrari, you won’t get it. If you don’t think the Law of Attraction works, it won’t work for you.

Remember positive energy is the only way to get positive results. And positive energy is only produced by positive thoughts.

Most of us can remember when were young and used to doodle for hours. As kids many of us loved drawing silly little pictures. The important thing to remember is, drawing is not just for kids or artists.  It is simply taking action to get some pens, pencils and crayons or whatever you need to draw for the fun of it. After starting drawing and doodling after a few minutes, you’ll notice how your state of mind positively shifts.to happiness.

7. Thinking of those less fortunate.

The simple fact that you are reading this article just now, suggests you are probably much better off than most people on this planet. At times this may be hard to believe, especially on a down day. But if you can read and have access to the internet, those two things alone mean you are better off than most people in the world.  There are many human beings out there that  barely have access to the basics, and are struggling to survive. There are people in lots of pain through old age, injury or illness.  Allow your compassion for these unfortunate people to grow.

This phenomenon is not new, people have been struggling spiritually for nearly as long as they have been on this planet. Some ways of doing this will vary depending upon what your spiritual beliefs are. However, most people will benefit from prayer and meditation, as well as learning more about what they believe in.

Immersing yourself in external spirituality helps to train your mind to be receptive to a higher power. This refers to things like books, religious services, or anything else that comes from the outside of yourself. Some believe that they can work hard enough to be rewarded by that power, while others believe that you cannot earn those rewards. Belief is personal to you, and there is no one correct way to achieve this state. Entire books have been written on just what each higher power does (or doesn’t do) and what the particular rewards are.
