Born and raised in sunny South Africa, my travels took me firstly to England and then to New Zealand, where I settled for 10 years. Upon return to England with my husband and two boisterous sons, I left the corporate world behind and took on the new adventure of being a stay-at-home mum. It was during this time, at the age of 37, that I summoned the courage to do what I have loved to do since teenagehood – to write, to bring the characters in my head to life in the form of a first novel, which I had started 10 years ago but never finished.

In my spare time, I love to bake for my family, read, and of course, submerge myself in the creative pool of bringing characters to life and threading narratives together.

I've always believed in fate and the power of dreams. Have you ever had a dream so vivid that it felt real? A dream so strong that it stayed with you long after you woke?
The idea for Dreams of Fate came to me in a dream... I know, total cliché 🤣 And it got me thinking about the power of our subconscious mind.
At first I thought it would never work for a book because people wouldn't find it believable in the Contemporary Romance genre, but I am elated with how it's been received. It's a deeply emotional story and one that I hope people will speak of long after they've read the last word.
